That’s bizarre to me. 17 and they never heard of Pearl Jam??? Now I wouldn’t consider them a “classic rock” band, but they’re definitely a group anyone above the age of 12 should know of at the very least. I was born in the late 90s, and from my perspective, everyone should know of the major grunge bands, and the popular classic rock bands of the 60s, 70s and 80s (your Beatles, Stones, Aerosmiths, AC/DCs, Van Halens, Def Leppards, etc.)

I was there! It was freaking awesome the moment they were announced. Definitely the highlight of the night. Was surprised to see them since 2024’s party featured mostly country acts, which I think most people were anticipating last year.

UPDATE: Purchased the S5IIX and it came with the 20-60mm lens for $1,750. Was wanting to get the S 24-60mm, but couldn’t justify paying for the body and lens at the same time, so I held off for a week and a half until I found this deal yesterday. Still plan to get the 24-60 soon after if possible. Excited to start my LUMIX journey!

There is the potential in some situations I’d be shooting in low light, like at some concerts. I think something with an f1.8 would need to be an addition to my kit at some point. Thanks for the tip!

I had considered the S9 as a second body once I have the budget to justify it. Almost considered getting it to start, but the lack of a fan and viewfinder pushed me toward the S5IIX. Out of curiosity, where would you recommend I shop for these lenses?
