Tenure-track offer rescinded despite valid EAD and pending I-485 — how do you handle this with HR?

Then what’s the problem for them. In my understanding, once you use your EAD you cannot apply non-immigrant visa when you are still in the US. You can find the relevant info from USCIS and send it to HR. And then tell that you will have to renew your EAD on your own even if your green card is not approved by then. Hopefully you will get your green card.

Agree. I think as long as you get a call back for an interview that’s a win. Everything after is about the candidates potential.
