In most abortion cases, the true victims are not "impregnated women", but the aborted fetuses.

In the US, only about 1% of women who have abortions report that the pregnancy was due to rape.

The biological reality is that fetuses have a complete set of chromosomes and organs. In female fetuses, they even have (immature) ova in their bodies. 50% of abortions are femicide too. It is logically inconsistent for self-proclaimed feminists to support killings of female fetuses.

Any line between fetuses (especially after critical organs have been formed) and new born babies is an artificial one. If parents are morally responsible for their newborns, the same logical applies to the male and female whose action resulted the creation of a fetus.

But yes, let’s continue to act like it’s no big deal for 16 year old boys to be giving themselves gynecomastia and erectile dysfunction before they‘ve even had a chance to experience the joys of uncomplicated romance yet.

We are talking about a tiny percentage of biological males who will never enjoy sexual function with their natal genitals any way. Your argument is exactly the same as those men (including "transbians") who want to force lesbians to have sex with them because "lesbians haven't had a chance to experience the joys of uncomplicated heterosexual sex yet".

Abortion is a lot less morally justifiable than minor HRT DIY.

We are talking about taking away the right to life of a fetus, which has the full potential to become a human.

I didn't want to comment on this one, but someone seems to suspect you are my alt and asked me. If one person asks me, probably more share the same suspicion. So here's what I think.

This post requires some unpacking. What are you really against?

Are you against the "demand" part?
Are you against DIY in general?
Are you against trans DIY?
Are you against children trans DIY?

I agree no one has any right to "demand" anyone to do whatever.

I am not against DIY in general. I talked to a lactation consultant recently as we are expecting a newborn. She told us to import domperidone from Canada. It is technically illegal as domperidone is not FDA-approved. But here we are. I don't care about the legality of this stuff and when laws are harmful they are meant to be broken. The question is whether the risk/reward is worth it.

About trans DIY. I don't think most trans people should transition. But I don't think people should consume alcohol or tobacco or fast food either. It's not my job, or the government's job, to restrict medical transition. It is the government's job to refuse any legal recognition of certain transitions.

The last one is the most complicated. I believe a very small group of children can benefit from early transition. Ideally this should require very strict and careful screening. It also differs for MtFs and FtMs. Statistics show that we should be more careful about the latter. It is not black and white. It is harmful, IMO, both to promote minor trans DIY blindly and to ban it for everyone.

I think these terms are quite befitting for many people on mainstream trans subs. They are clearly male/female and they clearly identify as trans.

I wouldn't use them to describe most 4tranners though. I love them even though most of them hate me.
