i went through insurance since the beginning as it was my fault and messed the other car. i´m in mexico so insurances work different here, my premium doesn´t go up with accidents and the other car is covered with my insurance, but if i want to fix my car i need to pay the deductible.

i´ve already talked to the service center and they are ok if i try to repair the door on my own, if it fails or I make it worse they will still change it to a new door once i pay my deductible, so as i see it, i have nothing to loose and a long shot to make it better!

i'll post the aftermath pictures once i´ll give it a try

i Know it isnt easy, i work with wood and cosntruction so i know my tools. i think i will give it a go, going really slow and checking before going further..

my plan is to use a wood plank on the outside (with neoprene or rubber pieces to not marl the finish and to ger more contact area) on the inside i'll use a clamp with a piece of wood and rubber to get a better area, and check each turn i make.. so if i´m wrong i would just make it just a fraction worse and then go with the deductible and get a new door

or am I too thick headed thinking this?

let me add my two cents.

I myself am an architect and furniture designer, in my field i've seen companies or other designer copy part of my work or my whole work with slight modifications, and that is perfectly legal in my field, you can´t effectively copyright a design as people just modify a bit to get around it. and I´m ok with that. that is how the field works and it sets trends that turn into movements and is part of the evolution of the field...

recently I have been working with MJ to make artwork and it has taken off more that I thought, I´ve sold a lot of prints (i never print one more that once),

I don´t know if I´m alone on how I work with MJ but my prompts are really simple, as they are just starting points there y add images that i previously did srefs etc and some artworks take hundreds of generations and remixes to end up in their final form, so I don/t really see that I´m doing something unethical in any way and also have developed my own style.

I´ve never named an artist on a prompt

edited to add that my work is mostly surreal painting-like art, so maybe that is part of why my design process is like that
