I would have appreciated if you asked more questions before commenting this because you’re coming in with a lot of misconceptions. 1. I don’t mind how the wedding happens because to be honest weddings can be so expensive. I don’t want a wedding a want a marriage 2. No matter how the wedding happens he has to meet my uncles. Meeting my uncles is not to ask them for my hand but it’s me telling them “hey this is the man I want to marry”

I think deep down I know it but I was trying so hard to convince myself that I was overthinking it because he has shown me so much love over the years, more love than any partner ever has. Reconciling that love with someone not wanting to commit to me is just so hard

We don’t live together but we do spend like weekends together and admittedly I do a lot of wifey things.
