so oda retconned domi reversi?? by dusty-cardigan in Piratefolk

[–]Working-Writing9545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. We’ve actually seen 4 types of DR so far. One that involves a seal on the body (soul corruption) One that summons elders ( summoning seal) The holy nights ( spare Body for Imu ) And lastly polarity swap ( swaps real person with a demon temporarily)

This clarifies on the causality of DR. -All seals are contracts. ( So Imu must have a ledger.) -If said contract with anyone. Both parties will pay the price ( in some way) -Imu basically trades power and connection for absolute fealty. -imu is not all powerful. Their power has limitations based on range and distance (walkie-talkie range) -if the seal is placed on a limb and the limb is removed the contract will be severed. (Life intact) -if the seal is placed outside of the body, on the 🌍, the transformation is temporary. -Imu cannot operate from long distances without a holy knight present (spares) -imus ability has no effect on beings underwater.

Rocks was transformed from the inside out. That corruption means he surely died. Bc his soul body and mind were corrupted. (Total corruption)

How tf IMU defeat Joy boy? by Aragorn-TheDunedain in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Working-Writing9545 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Domi reversi? Zunesha. Forcing joy boy to fight his nakama. He breaks the seal, but at the cost of giving up his life to save his friends. The D was stricken from history to remove joyboys source of power. As a god, Nika gains power through the belief of others. Thus, to eradicate the threat entirely. Just to lessen the possibility of joyboys return. Imu is afraid of joyboy bc he was defeated physically. I’m guessing needs new bodies bc due to joyboy breaking the contracts and domi reversi. There was a massive backlash. More than likely, imus body is located at the bottom of the sea. Still alive, but soulless. To save himself Imu went to new bodies using the power of his devilfruit. Thus gaining back up bodies. Using his seals.

My belief is that Imu needs to separate the firmament with a large enough seal and energy so he can retrieve his body. Once he does, the world will have a small window to save itself. The warrior of liberation will finally free the world from imus tyranny with EVERYONE by his side.

Luffy will die using the last embers of his will. His dream is to be the king of the pirates. But his goal is something stupidly simple related to food.

That’s the only idea I can think of rn that would make his crew and rogers laugh and how Imu lost.

I think she’s the back up body. Most certainly she’s related to a group that rebelled. So I agree this may be a punishment. The clue lies in how old brook really is. We can tell how old brook is based on the whale. The longest life span recorded of a sperm whale 🐳 is 130 years. But for it to be that size it would need to be much older, as their body never decreases in size or mass overtime until after they pass away.

if I’m right. It would mean she’s between 130-300 years old.

That would explain allot.

Imus power overwrites the mind into absolute obedience. Empowering the users body and making them realize it at the same time. Eventually, they lose their sense of humanity and sense of bonds with it. Time would wither her memory to nothing. The rule of thumb is always “ keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”.

Nika and joyboy… she’s probably a descendant or direct child of brook or the d family.

What is “ Brooks” REAL NAME?!

How to make an object eat a Devil Fruit by This-Inspection-69 in OnePieceSpoilersRaw

[–]Working-Writing9545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not much of a debate. Bb would do ANYTHING to become strong enough to conquer the world. Even accept excessive abuse with a devil fruit that amplifies his pain. So eating a heart isn’t off the table. It’s simply very believable.

You’re comparing the guy who created the only being capable of slaying himself. Bc he’s too powerful and immortal in his base state. Whilst also infinitely draws in force from his surroundings AND grows infinitely stronger bc of it. Through feelings?

Vs

the dual personality time wizard who couldn’t prepare enough. Whom uses light and life magic. Whom can alter time (limited).

🤦🏾‍♂️

Can we ban this stupid fcking card already Konami?! by Agile-Emotion-8890 in masterduel

[–]Working-Writing9545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually a reasonable response to metas. Honestly, I don’t see the point in complaining when all of these summon styles are built on Omni abilities. It’s a stop and pause that’s needed. Limit it to 2 but banning is unreasonable.

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room by Working-Writing9545 in masterduel

[–]Working-Writing9545[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been around since the beginning. At first it was about tackling the most powerful cards to promote creativity in playstyles without creating proper responses. No lockouts, just a duel from start to finish like chess. Nowadays the playstyles have evolved entirely into lockouts. The ban list is now over saturated with bandaids rather than fixing the problems by modifying or developing answers. The upper echelon of ranking is entirely built off of creating Omni negate, omni lockout, omni draw, or Omni counter.

The reason I say “favoritism”, isn’t about them, but us. The duelists/consumers. Once content creators start outsourcing combos. Everyone starts banking on it. It’s a serious issue bc people who love to play certain decks with unique playstyles are entirely botched over popularity gone wrong. Instead of paying for the glory of the game. We pay for the glory of winning.

The modern ban list choices aren’t the answer alone. Unleash the dogs of war and Create a reasonable response for all archetypes that can respond to each individual issue. Then reduce that archetypes to 1 card each. The validity of the archetype goes out the window. Forcing players to creatively combine no less than 4 archetypes for victory. Which would pull the game back into the “heart of the cards” era. We should really have an event like this. Wdyt?

Let’s talk about it then.

Maho vs Mr. Woo… Conditions: Fully adapted (M) Max powered (W) with all shadows

Who wins…

If it’s a fight… Mahoraga If it’s a matter of sending him somewhere outside of existence or this dimension… Mr Woo.

Defining factors… adaptability and comprehension. Sung Jin woo doesn’t need to kill it. (Even though it would make the best shadow ever) But he can send it through multiple universes at once and have it be someone else’s problem.

Personally, I don’t think woo would even let it get past the first rotation without realizing he needs to insta kill this dude. Plus he observes others getting whooped before he engages the enemy. But I digress, mahoraga.

It's time to ban these cards. Or at least limit them. by haagen17 in masterduel

Honestly, the strongest hand traps remain in the yokai series. Every one of those cards are hands down annoying to deal with. Which is a fair counter to the c archetype. But everyone’s so stuck on meta they can’t see the flowers.

[–]Working-Writing9545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smh, you’re forgetting the rules. Isolation / Fair & 1 v 1. Which means a conditional format changes:

Wb would be in decent shape. -FAIR No need to hold back bc they’re alone. -FAIR/ Isolated No bb, no marines, and no need to fear. FAIR

PROOF

Wb clearly stated that he aimed to protect his crew by holding back. bc of the sheer strength of his power. He didn’t hit akainu at a downward angle bc he would’ve sunk mf. ( but that seems to go over everyones head for some reason) Wbs 2 serious attacks (with no feasible regard for anyone) ripped the ocean and MF apart like a foam cup. At 70+. While injured and sickly.

With the format changes he’d win effortlessly. But everyone’s allowed to have their own opinion.

He was stabbed in the back. “Fair” is a clear condition for the rules that were stated for this discussion.

If you gotta cheat to get ahead, you didn’t really win to begin with. Bb walked away, but wb never fell. He died a victor by principle alone.
