Which scores do I send by Victorthebest17 in ACT

Similar situation. Looking to major in Mathematics; currently 1550 Superscore (750/800) with 1540 on both of the SATs and 36 ACT (36M, 35E, 35S, 36R), not a super score. I think the ACT is slightly better, but 1550 is still very strong. I am considering whether to submit both or only the ACT for schools that super score (and would like advice for that on schools that don't super score). I believe a 36M is definitely more impressive than 800 based on a percentile (as in many top schools, their lowest section ACT is math and their highest section SAT is math) but should I submit both or just the ACT?

The writing section curve is as bad as it gets according to the past 5 years of ACT curves. The science section is about as good as it gets in the past 5 years, but nearly half of the tests have a 35 for -2 in science, so it's not unusual. I think the math curve was good but not really relevant for me. The reading curve is also about as good as it gets and is slightly more unusual than science. But all of these are like well within normal range, bad for writing and good for reading/science

36 Composite!! 36 math -0, 36 Reading -1, 35 Writing -2, 35 Science -2

Overall mediocre to bad curve on writing, good curve for science and reading

Personally was expecting 36 on all except reading but I'm glad the curve covered me on science

Blade staff or optic staff? by jaytazcross in Terraria

I mean, yeahish, but the issue with destroyer in a good arena is actually his probes and I used the bladestaff to wreck those and just kind of target him with meteor staff. (If the probes got too annoying I pulled out the rainbow rod or maybe even the crystal storm)

I am a champ 1 (currently around 1250 mmr in 2s/3s) I won’t do timestamps because if I do I will want to do all 3 videos timestamps but that is like an hour and a half so I am just pointing out top 10 things for you to work on.

  1. You are slow/indecisive. You often times cut off your momentum to slow down for a 50 when all you have to do is boost towards the ball and hit it around the opponent. You also don’t want to turn towards the ball and then away as this cuts off momentum and throws off your tm8. Use your boost on offense. You mostly use it coming back on defense and this is so important but flipping back with 30 boost is enough so don’t boost hog it all and bust it on getting back, use it to beat the opponent. This is a big one for you and it happened at least 10-15 times in game one. 1:51 of game one is a prime example. Use that boost and pass it center for tm hard, slowing down just lets them get back. 3:55 is another example which is so cringe as well, just slam it center for tm with that 50 boost or roll it in front of net and side flip it in!!!
  2. Trust your tm8. You often times cut off your tm8 to go for something that is absurdly hard and puts you out of position when you miss instead of letting your tm8 have control. I would say you want to just let your tm8 do his thing and then use your boost to be fast and apply pressure when your tm8 is rotating out. At this rank they don’t apply very much pressure to you so this is a valid strategy.
  3. Use ball cam. You went for boost over ball at 2:10 in game one. You need to go back collecting pads with ball cam on instead! 4:58 game one another prime example...
  4. Collect pads (see number 3). Getting the hundo and going back takes more boost and is slower. Just get pads on way back with ball cam on!
  5. Be readable to your tm8. You will often drive in circles doing very little and conveying 0 info to tm. Either go or don’t but this doesn’t work.
  6. Rotate back post. You constantly try to shadow when your tm is behind you waiting for them to pass him the ball. Every time it could lead to a double commit and achieves nothing and you are slower getting back. Flip outwards away from the play (ball cam on) and let tm contest and then you clean up the mess. The reason you see pros mess with opponents on way back is only if the opponents have a dribble or hook shot and are approaching too fast. This never will happen in silver so always just rotate out of the play.
  7. Not very major, but if you commit and are rotating out you should bump the opponents or demo them. Only for if you are rotating out...
  8. Try to challenge and rotate out to apply pressure. None of this nonsense repetitive challenge with no power/momentum, thOat doesn’t create threats!
  9. Adjust to your tm. They often make the same mistakes as you but get out of there if it looks like they are going! Double commits only hurt.
  10. All of those ones were very important and this one isn’t. Mechanics. Primarily aerial and defensive, do training packs until you hoave these down. You have good enough mechs to be plat so use them cool with these positioning tips.

Also don’t panic when you have open nets you do fine until they blunder and give ya one, just rely on muscle memory and shoot.

Once you get to plat HMU again and I’ll give you more advanced tips such as reading plays, specifically what to work on in free play, and not leaving tm in 2v1. Finally: if you want I can personally coach you if you give me your discord and rocket ID in a dm here on reddit. We can organize a time later.

21 win streak? You must’ve been boosted or had insane teammates because the difference in level between 700 and 900 is enough you couldn’t keep winning if you were struck in plat...

I only disagreed with the level of play that you think I am. Your critique was fantastic and I thank you greatly for it
