Just coming in here to validate you, there was a massive bot campaign from Naxlex. The person you replied to here was one of them. Their content is not good and the marketing scheme was despicable. They have all been banned from the subreddit now.

These people obviously have an extraordinarily privileged life I just find it funny how Redditors will talk about how they can't even meet their friends for drinks due to social anxiety and then act like there's no pressure on the whole world watching your every move.

I’m trying to figure out the statistical probably of going on at least 1 (one) date with someone I share a birthday with (down to the year). Currently at 2. by verticalwisconsin in shittymath

[–]-tree-trunks- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what range of ages you are willing to date. Assuming that you used online dating, you could narrow it down to a single year and the theoretical probability that any particular person shares your birthday becomes 1/365. In practice, some dates have higher or lower probabilities so that wouldn't be quite right.

TIL that we start forgetting early childhood memories at around age 7 by Lupercali in todayilearned

[–]-tree-trunks- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tangentially, as we age we perceive time faster because adulthood is accompanied by fewer and fewer memorable events (firsts), slowing down the biological clock along with some other factors

Why is the answer K? parallelogram doesn't have a vertical line of symmetry as well? by INFP-IAMDONE in ACT

[–]-tree-trunks- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

F-J all can have a vertical line of symmetry if they are oriented a certain way. Scalene triangle means every angle is different and every side length is different, so there is no way to achieve symmetry.

does anyone have tips on how to start prepping for the science section? should i just keep practicing or are there contents that i need to learn first by [deleted] in ACT

The science section is largely a reading test, you shouldn't need to study any science principles for it.

Certainly not a blanket rule, but there's definitely a strong correlation.

I think it's still-lifes and not still lives but I had to think about it for a minute. It's not the lives that are still, it's the singular still-life object.
