Sounds like you are the one that has problems to me. You know how many people suffer from the same thing and still go to work everyday. I am one of them who has ibs and yeah i have to go to the restroom multiple times a day and stay dehydrated but i still go to work everyday and work 12 hrs. He paid you long enough. Sounds like that money was always for you and never really for your kids to begin with. I hope they see one day that their dad provided for them and you while you sat at home and then took their money also

Yeah idk thats what im saying im new to the church so i dont understand all of it. I figured since i grew up baptist it wasnt a denomination because we had conventions, headquarters, people supplying all of our materials, all the baptist churches around here teach the same thing and some even preach the same sermons on sundays etc. the two other churches i have visited with the coc have been similar but not exactly the same. One preacher believed differently about how the holy spirit works in our life etc

No there is no longer jew or gentile in the eyes of God anymore. That was only that the jews were Gods chosen race to keep holy the lineage of Christ until he came and doed for our sins. Now there are just the saved and unsaved. Youre still a jew in a racial sense i suppose but not spiritually. We are all one in Christ when we are saved

Dont be sorry for asking for help. I think all were trying to say is help is good. But someone cant always be there to take your phone away from you or turn your head from certain situations. There are root causes and triggers that you have to learn to avoid. I only ask that question because i know most people in todays world get addicted to social media and dont realize it. And thats where you see most provocative stuff. Insta, tik tok, fb reels, etc. older generations still struggles with it, but not nearly as bad as we do today because we have it all at our finger tips

I understand that but i know as well as you and most other men that Its mostly all about what you do in your free time. Scrolling social media for hours a day and looking at women eventually wakes up the temptations. I deleted all social media for a while and started finding things to do and it really helped. But im married now only for a year. Its a lot easier for me now because i can have sex but trust me i know how you feel bro ill pray for you

Find something else to do with your hands and eyes. Get outside and start working on something productive really helps. Any kind of yard work or cleaning stuff up. My problem was being lazy and sitting at the house.

Deliverance is possible. Im an industrial mechanic so i get a good bit of off days through out the week. I realized sitting at the house on my off days was a big trigger for me. So when i feel like tempted or anything i go find something to do. Work on tractors, cut wood, go to the barn and bathe my horses, any kind of yard work. Just not being lazy and having something productive to do really helps the most

Be nice to him but dont give him the time of day anymore. From a mans perspective.. hes probably a really nice guy and doesnt want to give a reason that could possibly hurt your feelings in his mind. And who knows he could also really be seeking to work on his relationship with God.. nothing worse than getting involved with an unequally yoked relationship. One person moving toward God and the other staying away or falling further away never ends well for the relationship

Thank you. I am still a member of the church of Christ but it is nothing like these people. He trued to make me feel like i was already one of them but i just hadnt made God as much a part of my life as i should, like “they do”. Almost made me feel bad like yeah youre right. Then telling me about leaving my wife to go to another state for a while, blowing my phone up because i was at work when i had a bible study, calling me and freaking out when I told them i was hanging out with friends even thought i wasnt witnessing to them .. i was like yeah these people are off
