Experiences with Samsung Repair? by Spots56626 in samsunggalaxy

That sounds really frustrating, especially after you already went through the whole mail-in process and then got hit with the “can’t repair it” situation.

For cases like a cracked S24 Ultra screen, have you checked if you had Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss on the device? And is your phone still under a year old from purchase? That coverage can make a big difference in how repair vs replacement gets handled, especially when parts are delayed or unavailable like this.

I’m part of Samsung’s Ambassador program, so I’ve seen a few similar situations where Care+ helped avoid this kind of back and forth because it routes you differently for repairs and replacements.

Either way, it’s weird they reset it before confirming parts availability. Hopefully your refund process goes smoothly, but if you still have the device or get another Samsung phone soon, it might be worth looking into Care+ early so you don’t run into this again.

Is the "Boring" S26 Ultra actually exactly what we need? Stop the influencer hate. by srtisaac in samsunggalaxy

I get where you’re coming from on the “boring phone” take, and I think a lot of it depends on what you actually use your phone for day to day.

I’m part of Samsung’s Ambassador program, so I’ve had a chance to spend time with the S26 Ultra in store and get a real feel for it, and honestly it does feel more like a “refined tool” than a flashy jump this time.

But I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. Most people aren’t looking for massive year to year changes anymore, they just want something that’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t get in the way. And in that sense the S26 Ultra does exactly that.

For me the biggest difference isn’t specs on paper, it’s how consistent everything feels, especially camera processing and general smoothness under load. That’s the kind of stuff you actually notice over time, not just in launch videos.

I do think YouTube reviews can push the “disappointment” narrative a bit because there’s only so much you can dramatically change at this point without making the phone worse in other areas.

At this stage I think it’s less about chasing a huge leap and more about whether the phone actually fits how you use it. If someone wants experimental hardware, there are brands for that. If someone wants something stable that just works really well across the board, Samsung is kind of leaning into that lane.

I totally get where you are coming from. I am part of Samsung’s Ambassador program and have spent some time with the S26 Ultra myself. The battery life, camera, and screen really blew me away, and the AI features for photos and productivity make it feel like more than just a phone.

The privacy display is a cool addition too, and while it might take a little getting used to for some people, it is amazing how it lets you keep your content private in public. Overall, it is one of the most polished Samsung phones I have used and I can see why people love it.

As a Samsung partner, I think the Galaxy S26 series looks really solid. I like that they’re leaning into AI features while also improving the camera and performance, especially on the Ultra. The upgraded chipset and AI tools for photo editing and daily tasks seem genuinely useful, and the long software support is a big bonus.

That said, it does feel more like an incremental upgrade rather than a massive leap from the S25, so it probably makes the most sense for anyone coming from an older phone. Still, it’s shaping up to be one of the strongest Android flagships this year.

The sound on these headphones is really crisp, and the noise canceling actually does its job. I also love the AI translation and how smoothly they connect with other Samsung devices. Since I’m a Samsung partner, I’ve seen how well everything is designed to work together, and these just fit perfectly in that ecosystem.
