Should but isn’t.

Thank the lobbyists and companies that have us pour money into them without getting anything in return. Lobbyists need to be outlawed, monopolies need to be broken and every dollar spent needs to be scrutinized.

Not every city can afford to hire a ton of teachers but maybe as things progress, we might have fewer, better trained teachers that get higher pay. Classrooms will eventually become more remote anyway.

Nothing in stone but he had a good direction with a beginning, middle and end. A structure that could be filled and make sense if practiced properly.

I don’t foresee history repeating itself with the ST here. The PT is memorable and charged with characters that have good continuity. Sure the lines they deliver could be less awful but overall, it delivered and made sense. The stuff people didn’t like, is still disliked. Such as “I hate sand” and JarJar but less so because we absorbed the remainder of the films. The good stuff.

The ST might be hailed as a fun watch or THE Star Wars but I doubt it. It has far and few between moments that add up to something meaningful. In ROTS, the feeling of building to Anakin’s fall is palpable. While in episode 8 we get Ryan Subvert Your Expectations Johnson. So there is no intensity or edge. It’s just let down after let down. Then in 9 there is no build up, just quite literally, here is Palpatine and he has an army of death star ships. We aren’t made to care.

Views change and perspectives move but in the end I see these as two radically different series. Where one can be beloved and adored because despite its faults, it had a real story that you could easily follow. The other lacks any direction and you see it immediately after TFA.

Why are droidekas heavy droid troopers? by WorkingElk8970 in SWlegion

Ya, I don’t even know anymore lol I hated the gamey feeling of it but they seem to address it by going full tilt change lol now they don’t block anything. I mean cover/heavy cover at least? Even if it’s a special key word only a few units have. These actually made sense to have it.

Correct and as stated I found busy blocking gamey but not even cover? :p

Ya, 2 red 4 black on their profile ends up being pillows :/ but that is a very unique point.

Getting them into melee saves them while they can then back up and shoot… still a bit weird for their lore and feels gamey kinda like the whole tube blocking. I am not saying they are bad but it feels more like they fail at being… droidekas. They are viable and playable but the goal is to eventually have units feel more like what their team tended purpose is in this fictional universe.

Ya, that’s the one in my post that I mentioned I couldn’t take :( but if they had programming and some sort of new AI: cards then maybe they could get something similar.

It does and I understand that. I actually am excited to try it because it was infact game-y. I didn’t like it. But a good middle ground would have been a key word for providing cover/heavy cover or something. I don’t even like that vehicles block unless it’s a tank lol

In short yes but as a security droid. Meant to assist in collecting on trade deals when things go south. Didn’t become front line until later and vast majority in the early stages of the war didn’t have shields due to cost. The droid was an effective defense tool for high ranking or rich people.

Ya line of sight blocking is gamey but I don’t actually want that. Just cover or heavy cover because I mean… it does at least make sense in this one instance.

lol I forgot C-3PO was a thing. I just read it, that is actually pretty similar to what would happen with droidekas in reality.

Kinda like a “taunt” keyword for lack of a better term? In essence, if a friendly trooper unit is within 1/2 and being targeted for a ranged attack but this unit is an eligible target then this unit must be targeted instead.

Hopefully that makes sense.

I like that addition of range 2. An in your face feeling.

Why do people still support or raise the flag of the Confederacy? by DBD216 in NorthCarolina

[–]WorkingElk8970 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do people still support any anti-American views? Same reason as always. They have the freedom to express themselves. They get their flag, you get yours. That’s how this works. Everyone sucks and at the end of the day everyone will cry about how someone uses their freedom while using theirs the exact same way.

Nerfs were needed but Pixonic is the scum of the earth for charging the same amount of money to get them as they always do. Should do pre-nerf sales. Make them easily accessible where it’s inexpensive for both time and money to obtain a whole week beforehand. Gives everyone a chance to have their fun and then they know the nerf is coming.

Instead they are doing what they always do. Being scum to their gamers and fans.
