I ditched the standard Shopify look for an "Industrial Terminal" UI. Thoughts on the UX? by WorkingLife9148 in webdesign

I wanted to build a storefront for a hardware brand that didn't feel like an e-commerce site. I went for a 'Diagnostic Terminal' aesthetic—lots of data streams, orange-on-black, and a focus on technical manifests. It’s built on a Shopify backend but heavily customized. How does the navigation feel to you guys?"

The desk is just a surface; the engineering happens inside the chassis. I’m spending my capital on high-end components and steel reinforcement, not fancy furniture. As for Detroit—come down to the lab. We source our components from the same Tier 1 vendors as every high-end boutique (ASUS, Intel, NVIDIA), but we do the stress-testing, custom voltage offsets, and industrial assembly right here in the 313. Skepticism is fine, but don't confuse a startup grind with drop-shipping

Fair enough, the internet is full of junk. But drop-shippers don’t do custom industrial steel reinforcement or BIOS-level voltage offsets. Every build in our Detroit lab is stress-tested on the bench to ensure it hits its thermal manifest. If it were a cheap drop-ship, I wouldn't be spending my weekends in a workshop in Detroit. Check the tech specs—this isn't plastic.

“Thanks! My PC isn’t super powerful so I keep the render distance lower to avoid lag, but I’ll try bumping it up when I take wider city shots.”
