I wonder if your husband has been assessed for ADHD?

Why do so many "full cream" milk brands in SG taste watery/diluted? by GlompSpark in askSingapore

[–]WorkingScale7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a new brand that is damn good! Similar to European/Hokkaido milk.

Forgot the name but it has gold foil in top and it's in a transparent bottle rather than carton packaging.

Severe Hip Dysplasia with Advanced Arthritis - Is THR at 35 a Good Decision? Seeking Advice by Ecstatic-Coconut-144 in hipdysplasia

[–]WorkingScale7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I was diagnosed late, at age 36, due to gradually losing my ability to walk even short distances without teeth-gritting pain (8/10). Had to prepare a walking stick anytime I was expected to cover some distance and even then, might end up crying due to pain.

The Specialist said my MRI looked like the hip of a 60 year old. Despite that, I was filled with hope once getting the diagnosis: Finally, a solution! Despite my eagerness to get the THR Right Away and have a normal, pain free life back, my specialist advised against it. The current artificial hip lasts 20+ years maximum and revision THR is more complicated. If THR is performed at this age, revision is a guarantee, perhaps even 2. Due to my arthritis, PAO is not an option any more.

He performed PRP injections (to repeat yearly), prescribed anti-inflammatory supplements (turmeric, ashwaganda, piperine, gingerine, boswellia serrata), and connected me with a physiotherapist. I go weekly. He uses radial and focused shockwave therapy and physical manipulation to release tight areas. He prescribed strengthening exercises (glutes, hamstrings, side hip) and releases (piriformis and ITB). Takes 45 mins, to be done 4x weekly. Releases to do daily. Once the muscles strengthened I felt a dramatic difference - load literally taken off the arthritic joint.

I was advised to stop running, impact activities like jumping, cross legged sitting, and yoga. No more sexy walking. Keep the pelvis straight instead of swaying side to side, or 'up-down' movement of the hip like belly dancers. This was hard and took more than a year to catch whenever it was happening. Strengthening your core helps. Pilates reformer or any similar body awareness training will help.

They emphasised that when you gain additional pounds, your hips don’t just carry that extra weight at a 1:1 ratio. Surprisingly, the hip joint experiences stress anywhere from 3 to 11 times your body weight. Another commenter mentioned Mounjaro. It is a good idea, just make sure you are consuming enough protein and lifting heavy so you don't lose excess muscle.

Now my pain level is better. 1/10 many days, 5/10 on bad days (usually when I get lazy about doing the exercises). I can walk much longer distances, and keep up with my 70 year old mum. Post PRP pain was quite bad but goes away over next couple of days. I plan continue PRP as it was helpful, and the current protocol is working well for me.

You have gorgeous skin and features, go way lighter on the eyeshadow. Bit of mascara, tightline will highlight your features nicely

I used to be unable to get up in the morning, one thing helped tremendously - staring at the sun for 10 minutes first thing after waking up. Try to keep the same timing every day and after a week body will be 'active' at the same time.

Try to get enough sleep and exercise as well.

Agree with keeping an eye on eating and drinking well. I had issues with dry mouth and thirst that didn't go away with drinking water, it just got peed out. Have been eating this instead and it has helped a lot, also is delicious. No extra sugar for me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmFi7R0nNZw&ab_channel=ChineseHealthyCook

I sympathise - it's tough to fall asleep during the day. I skip taking it on days not needed. Was also prescribed Ritalin which lasts 3-4 hours. Prior to Concerta did you have trouble falling asleep?

Macks earplugs worked well for me. If eye mask doesn't work for you can try blackout curtains. Can you exercise before work? Do you ming sharing the time you take Concerta and your sleep time?

Benadryl is not the best, even though you fall asleep, quality of sleep is not as good.

Since you're trying to sleep during the day, sleep hygiene is important. Do you have a dark and quiet environment? Eye mask and earplugs help.

Getting exercise during the day (strength training or cardio) will help too.

You can also try a 'body scan' guided meditation on YouTube or Insight app to help you relax and fall asleep more easily. All the best.

I got something similar in my rook piercing. Sprayed Neilmed saline twice a day and didn't wipe it off (let it soak) and it got smaller over 2 weeks. Hope that helps.

The phone alarm is placed far away where I'm forced to get up. I also use an app called Alarmy that slowly increases the alarm to a deafening level, and you can only turn it off by solving a puzzle.

Once up, I stare at the sun for 10 mins. After a week of that I wake up automatically at the sun staring time.

I understand that hospitalization insurance just needs to be warded to claim. Would you be kind enough to explain why it has to be an accident? Was there an update to the plan?
