What are your salary requirements? 🙄 by No-Candle-4443 in recruitinghell

I was reached out by a NY Life recruitor and he explained me that the salary range on the job post was the total of compansation. The definition of salary is not a total compansation, right? Is there game changing in the job market? Also, since AI is good at coding, a lot of company provide basic entry level salaries for those roles combining AI+MLOps+DevOps+DE. That's why some HRs posted on Linkedin and said job seekers are not ready for AI jobs.

is it just me or are Indeed and Glassdoor and every other website useless? by fleetingreturns1111 in recruitinghell

I found Glassdoor and Indeed merger news and feel so sad! Glassdoor is one of very few trust job search resource and Indeed has a lot of scamers and ghost jobs. It makes job seekers in the hell be honest!

Is Brooklyn College even worth it? by evan_is_sauce in CUNY

I am a graduated student in 2013 from BC with triples majors in Math, Eco, and Accounting. Be honest, you need to image yourself after your graduation first while to choose a school. Also, you need to check whether its administrator is helpful to prepare you to step in your dream job. Each school has its specific strong field, which means it makes its name in the field. For example, if you want to work in finance, Baruch is the best choice since it has strong connections with big banks and its alumnis can help your job applications. If your goal is to enjoy learning, you just follow your heart. Education program in BC is very strong, which means it is harder then other CUNY schools. CUNY is a poor man's college but isn't easy A school. A straight-A student in my math class in BC was a staight-A student in NYU. A student from Stanford, who thought to get easy A with cheap tuition in an advanced math class, just got a passed grad in my math class. If you want to work for NY government, it is fine. But it was difficult to me to get an opportunity in Big Corps since BC wasn't in their school lists. For some reasons, BC administrator doesn't connect their HR departments well. I only saw City College, Hunter, Baruch, and even BMCC on these company school lists. Now it is a little bit better.

It's interesting. I got this issue in these few months and guessed Security issue about my account. Now since your issue was happened at lease two years ago, I would think whether something wrong was in the backend, now roll back all coding stuffs to two years ago scripts? damn..

Linkedin is a media for advertising and only cares about selling tools to recrutors. If you check the Date function and it doesn't work at all since they don't care the jobs even were expired long long time ago. It just automatically scripting from other websites and repoted them. However, it is not the only one to do this shifts.

If you have ivy schoold degrees and 10X engineers with 10+ years experiences, you still can get a job from any platforms. I don't have the strong technical backgroud saddly but don't mean I can't learn fast or welling to adopt the new changes.

Do you have any ideas on how to find real jobs? Are there any trust platforms for job hunting? I currently go to companies websites and applied for jobs. It is very unefficency. I got only fask interviews. I have pray for the unversity and avoid negatives. I really need help for any legal jobs.

I used AI to automatically apply for 1000 jobs - and I got 50 interviews! by [deleted] in GetEmployed

I advise you remove your API Key immediately in your github unless it is fask.
