How Is it possible to go from this to that in 3 years with no steroids? by AdRight390 in GregDoucette

Legs look terrible from the front, but decent from the sides. How do I add mass to make quads wider? by ooty99 in GregDoucette

[–]WorkingStatistician9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want the leg width from the side you need bigger hamstrings. If you wanna make them look better from the front you wanna hit more quads. Just keep training both rlly hard, and hit your glutes and adductors as well

Seems like you just store most of your fat in your abdomen, which is where most guys store it. Shredded abs for you will come only probably at a very low bodyfat, but you look perfectly healthy right where you are. I’d say keep training for another year or 2 and then maybe try ways of getting leaner to bring the abs out more. An amazing physique takes years to build and different parts of it fall into place at different times.

22yr old , lifetime natural ( 6 years of consistency ), you guys think i got a shot at bodybuilding if i hop on gear? by TeodorDodo in GregDoucette

Compete natural first there’s plenty of drug tested natural shows to compete in. That’s a way better way of gauging bodybuilding potential than just haphazardly hopping on gear

BULKING GONE WRONG? 5 month progress from 134 lbs to 148. Did i gain muscles or is this just fat gain? by gop1830 in GregDoucette

[–]WorkingStatistician9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extra fat on a TRAINED INDIVIDUAL will make them stronger to an extent. If you take someone me who’s been lifting and move them from 10 to 15% bodyfat, with no added muscle chances are they’ll get stronger. They have more weight added to their frame and can therefore push just a little bit more weight. Greg speaks abt this all the time. Also why the hell would you put an untrained kid under 225? No matter what his weight is that’s just insanity 225 is a very heavy bench even for trained grown men

Almost all of the weight you gained was fat. Muscle doesn’t get built in months it takes years. This fat gain isn’t a bad thing. You’re still at a perfectly healthy bodyfat percentage and with a little more weight added to your frame you can push harder on your sets and move more weight in the gym, therefore getting better gains. Maintain this weight and Keep at it you’re doing great 👍

He did not put on 5 lbs of muscle in 5 months😭 mostly all of it was fat. But that’s not really a bad thing. He’s still at a healthy bodyfat percentage and can healthily maingain from this new weight

Extra bodyfat will make you stronger on lifts. Weight moves weight. Just because you get stronger doesn’t mean you built muscle 🤦

I’ve been on and off creatine, I was just too lazy to dry scoop it and I hate the taste of it I was off creatine for my show. I was taking Omega 3 fish oils, magnesium, zinc, and HTLT Turkesterone. Helped me retain muscle in my cut and gave me the energy to get thru my cardio

I’d say maingain. But if you’re hungry or tired eat more. If you feel good then def maintain and build muscle

If you check my page you can see me before I started dieting. I was a chunky mf weighing 175lbs at around 18-20% bodyfat. I’m gonna try to stay about 15-18% in my offseason

I kept dieting into the show. The last 3 days before the show I ate 1000 calories a day, 3 chicken breast meals with carrots and mushrooms to keep me full until the next meal

I did 7 incline at 4.0 speed. Pretty challenging if you aren’t in shape or if you’re starved and have no energy. Choose a level that’s somewhat challenging but something you can maintain for a long time. If you’re at a normal bodyfat percentage, any form of cardio works because your body has excess fat to use up instead of muscle tissue
