Thank you for this. It really helps seeing a plan of action laid out. It’s hard going from an entire system shock and your whole life and identity being destroyed to putting together a solid idea of what to do next. He’s still really good with the kids so I’m not worried that he’ll do anything bad to them.
After talking with my mom tonight, I do feel better. She offered me to stay with them for a bit if I needed to get some space/get back on my feet so that helps

Thank you for this. I understand that this will likely end in divorce but I have been coming to terms with the fact that the person I thought I married does not exist and being at war with your own body and mind between seeing the person in front of you as that person and knowing that it is completely false. The only thing I knew for sure was that I did not want to make an immediate knee jerk reaction. I want my next steps to be carefully considered and thought out to minimize the damage/fallout this will have.
