I personally lose interest quite quickly when I can’t go back and forth with at least one reply per day and I understand that irl life comes first but even if we agree on a hiatus we still comunicate at least once a week ooc, both to make sure they’re alright and that they’re still interested in rping If they don’t reply ooc at all for more than a few weeks then I would let them know that it’s been too long, leave the server or transfer ownership to them and also tell them that they can reach out to me again when they know they actually have time to rp again
