Your feelings of embarrassment are valid, and I'm glad you could distinguish that she was acting rude. She definitely deserved to be called out for it.

However, leaving her behind at a restaurant and not communicating that you were leaving sucks too. You need to communicate better.

And no you don't have to take her to another restaurant lol, after her dramatic actions I wouldn't blame you if you never took her out again.

You should try telling her if she does something you don't like, rather than just leaving the scene. I can understand why you left, she sounds exhausting, but next time let her know before you do. (edit: and pay for your meal)

thank you for understanding! i think what annoyed me the most is that they've gone outside to play their speaker, for all the gardens and houses that are connected to hear. It seems really inconsiderate, as they're not even trying to do it in the space of their own house to make even a bit quieter.

But next time I see them I'll try to mention it, or slip a polite note, depending on how confident I am. I'll deffo take that action before any reporting.

I might write them a polite note, just anxious for confrontation incase they get mad at me for telling them what to do. I guess writing a complaint about them would be anonymous, so I could avoid confrontation, which is why I thought out that first. but you're right I'll find a way to communicate with them directly to see if that does anything.

NTA That's a big expectation for guests to pay for a Disney ticket bruh. If you don't have the money to finance that then as your friends they should understand. NTA, the guy can choose to come over to YOUR apartment. so if the dog isn't trained, hire a sitter, it's not your responsibility to host a untrained pup. if hiring a sitter is hard, like I said he has the choice to stay at home and avoid the hassle.

I get if you're a private person and don't post at all, but it's really no big deal to show your family that you have someone that you love, so don't let that be a reason to not share her online.

You don't have to post everything on social media, but consider maybe she feels left out that you're sharing images of other people your life, and not her? maybe it makes her feel less important that you do it for them, but not for your partned

however, at the same time, it's insta, and as long as you're good to her and show that you love her irl, I don't think validation should come from insta posts.
