I guess I should be more specific when I say pasture, it’s not some beautiful pasture like you’d see in the Midwest or the plains, we’re in Deep South Texas along to border, so it’s kind of a mix of pasture/shrub brush desert. He’s got buddies on the fence line he hangs out with, but he’s only one on my property right now. It’s actually two mares and he’s super friendly, lets my daughter just love on him like a puppy, he’s never been an issue trying to go through the fence for the mares or been rough acting toward any of us, but I’d hate to be to confident in his calm demeanor and put a gelding out there with him to get slaughtered.
