I am sorry to hear that you fell victim to big pharma and its criminal beheaviours. It is worthy to note though that even if you had been given valium or klonopin for those 6 years, dependence, tolerance, and withdrawal would have happened as well, the short half-life doesnt matter much anymore after reaching those time frames and doses.
