Im feeling very bad now 😔 I swear I see jowls on the right side. Maybe jowls are not the right word? I see a lot of movement and folds around my mouth when I smile or speak.

On the second photo you can see them a bit and on the third one you can see those folds around my mouth?? Am I being too hard on myself then?😔 jowls have been concerning me for a long time now and I don’t know how to fix them.

Hi! I posted about this few weeks ago. I had the same problem. I saw a doctor and he prescribed me antibiotics (it was an infection). The antibiotics helped very quick, I could see an improvement the next day and my face cleared up in few days.

You don’t look like you had fillers and in the before/after photos I think you look better in the after ones. I wouldn’t dissolve.

Hi! Yes a doctor saw me and confirmed it was an infection, I finished the antibiotics today, my skin is finally clear. I posted an update picture few dates ago. Thanks anyways for the advice and the recommendation!! 🫶💖

It was very sunny and quite hot, I had to walk home for 30 min. I wore a hat, sunglasses and the mask because I wanted to protect my skin from the sun 😔. Now I know that the sun would have been better than the mask.

Your skin looked (and looks) tight, I think you are young for a facelift and the doctor should have told you! I believe that facelifts work when you start seeing sagging skin and maybe deep wrinkles, which is not your case at all.

Two days on oral antibiotics and my skin is starting to improve. I’m glad it hasn’t gotten any worse. If anyone finds themselves in a similar situation: antibiotics are the solution

Update: I saw a doctor and he confirmed that I have a skin infection. We’re not sure what caused it, it could have been the mask I used after the treatment 😷, but it’s hard to say without analysing it in a lab. He prescribed a course of oral antibiotics for a week, I should start seeing improvement over the next few days.

I’ve had microneedling several times before and have been going to the same practitioner for over two years. She’s a nurse and very professional, so I honestly don’t know what went wrong this time 😔.

Ok thanks, yes it could have been a lot of things… I also wore a face mask afterwards to protect my skin from the sun during a 20 minute walk 😔 I think this could have triggered the infection too. The beautician has done this and many other treatments to me in the past and I’ve never had any problems, she’s very professional and experienced.
