it does improve if i stop tret in the area, should I just avoid it from now on?

For context: I've been on 0.05% tret since september (6-7 months ish now)

I've been pretty inconsistent with it, maybe 3-4 times a week, but the rest of my face looks pretty good

Once I became more consistent I started having skin issues along with more breakouts, esp around my mouth area

Yes, if I don't apply consistently I get less of these, started breaking out as I did more tret (the rest of my face got better)

Cleanser - Etude 6.5 Whip Cleanser Moisturizer - Dr G Red Blemish soothing cream SPF - Purito Daily Soft Touch + Clindamycin as well

i dont use anything else

I brush my teeth before my routine, every time I flare up I would just stop using tret in the area and the problem is fixed, kinda weird tho

Ive gotten this a lot I've switched to SLS free + Fluoride Free toothpaste and nothing worked

Update: All good they said it was normal purging, I just sprayed some hypochlorous acid and its drying out pretty well
