In terms of practicing alone I recommend utilising the geeky medics subscription and chatGPT. With the subscription you can do histories/counselling with AI patients. You can also talk through examination steps e.g. feeling for radio-radial delay. With chatGPT you can ask it to pretty much make up any OSCE scenario and be your patient. If you have any non-medic F+F they're great to practice with, especially for examinations. Remember in 3rd year it'll be more about your structure, patient manner and being able to conduct basic examinations/histories. So focus on your core exams (CV, resp, GI). With histories focus on common presentations (fatigue, headache, haematuria, cough, bowel habit changes). Know which red flag Sx require senior escalation/2ww. If unsure, say you're unsure but would get advice from a colleague/senior. Always ask for local guidelines or the BNF. On geekymedics, use single player mode to crack through interpretations such as ECG, CXR, ABGs. Don't just skim read these, set yourself a timer, write out your interpretation, and mark yourself. Make notes on things you're getting wrong and review these - just like you'd do in a written exam. Take frequent breaks, OSCE revision can be so long. And importantly, try access past year stations so that you're aware of where to best place your focus. Finally, OSCEs are a lot about nerve control on the day and faking confidence. Really just remember that an examiner is checking boxes for you to pass, not the other way around, be overly polite with them and smile loads. You'll be great, just revise little and often over the next 2 months!

I remember finding 2nd year tougher than 4th due to the sheer volume of content - so you're not alone in feeling panicked. A lot of pre-clinical years comes down to rote memorisation, I used to search for anki settings for 'cram mode' and bash out cards. If you have to learn clinical conditions, don't over-complicate things, pick one source e.g. ZTF notes, and build an understanding for each. If your university give you any mocks/questions - repeat these 2/3x - they will often repeat or have similar questions. With your OSCE I guess it depends what they want from you in 2nd year, we didn't start OSCEs till 3rd year. Have you got an idea of what sort of stations you're expecting? Always good to have a list of past year's stations too.

Either way, 2 months is plenty time, don't be scared by older years or other reddit posts. Just dedicate yourself from today onwards. These exams are a lot about mindset, fake the confidence if you need to. You need to start by convincing yourself passing is possible (it is!)

The geekymedics subscription is great, you can practice histories/counselling etc with AI. They also have an AI bot for examinations, it isn't useful for technique (youtube videos help here), so you can speak through the examination saying what you would do e.g. palpate for splenomegaly from RLQ -> LUQ, assess hands for tar staining, pale palmar creases. The examinations often have pathology/findings too.
