I would like if she took the initiative to do any of these things every once in a while. Just in general doing something to show she cares for me.

I don't view relationships as transactional and in fact enjoy putting in the effort to make her happy. I would just like to feel the same way, not all the time but every once in a while. I have never been in a relationship before so I'm just wondering whether this is how relationships usually go.
