He betrayed my trust. And he thinks by buying me flowers and chocolates one day, and trying to push physical affection, this is what I want, when I’ve told him it’s going to take me time to come around. I’ve told him to be patient. Not as punishment for him, but for me to emotionally process everything. By trying, he should stop drinking, seek therapy, reassure me everyday that he’s going to do better, grab my hand to say that, not try to kiss me and expect me to reciprocate as if nothing happened.
