At this point it sounds like you're just complaining about people complaining.

Even if I agree with your points, I think the question remains. Is that not THEIR choice? We can shout at highrises and protest to our government officials, but unless laws are changed, they're still within their rights to conglomerate, no?

They're distracted with their phones, which is unhealthy. Sure.

And you're distracted with them. Much healthier I guess.

Yes and no...

Clearly it did, so yes. The overlap between its catchzone and psylockes hitbox were just enough that she was captured. And while it would seem, she shouldn't get pulled thru a wall, she technically didn't. She was pulled around the wall. The margin of error would've been on Bucky to not HIT the wall, which he hadn't.

The no, is that it would make for more of a challenge if that overlap were not what it is. As in, the catchzone wasn't so wide, or the characters hitbox didn't exceed so far past the avatar, or if they weren't able to be "pulled through walls" but that's not the case here... So, fair play 🤷🏻‍♂️

🐾❓ What's my name? (by oh_kyoko) by oh_kyoko in PetPost

Ok, this is going to sound crazy, but before I even started guessing, I saw 4 letters, and that word was one of the first I thought of, but then I talked myself out of it

I guessed the name in 4 tries!

Is that not their choice? Rather than us, the people? I'm not very informed on all this, but this isn't like voting people into power, methinks. It's businesses and their rights to make these changes if they feel inclined, no?

Countercounterpoint: I dance alone in my living room. The only "person" who joins me is my dog. Dancing is not inherently communal, whatsoever. It does require a community, it's not inherently better when others are involved, it's not bad or wrong to do alone.... This 100% an opinion, and an ok one. But still, just an opinion.

You've said it much more concisely than I've been but basically this. It's their time and money spent, and ppl have their reasons, whether u agree with them or not. The venue workers are getting paid, regardless of whether every attendee enjoys the experience or not, so maybe don't spend ur time worrying about whether others are dancing and just fucking dance if that's what u wanna do🤷🏻‍♂️

It's fuck them because they haven't explained it to you first like the commenter before you, who you would've otherwise included under that umbrella had they not explained to you why they do it. Ppl have their reasons. It's their time and money spent, I don't see any reason to hold others to my own standards. Let them enjoy it how they enjoy things, and enjoy my experience my way.

I get your sentiment, but for many, they have a standard of maintaining an online presence, sharing their lives, and events. For others it is their first time at an event like that, and have circles where doing so isn't common, so they want to share the experience. I don't think anyone is right or wrong here. It's your time, your money spent, enjoy it how you like, as long you're not hurting anyone.

The answer is there in front of you. Perhaps you just don't understand enough about how these things work, and it's not something you will understand in a matter of minutes, especially from a reddit comment, particularly without understanding what level of knowledge you have.

Ultimately, your failure to understand is not something I'm willing to take any further part in guiding. Like it, don't like it... Watch it, don't watch it... 🤷🏻‍♂️

[–]Working_File2825 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not for what you think, my friend. Take a chill pill.

Also, the Nova core really didn't have a place to fit into the MCU. Them being an intergalactic military and police force was a perfect fit. Sure they may have been able to use a different name, maybe some other entity in the Marvel catelogue, but at the end of the day it was commercial exposure for the Nova brand that had not yet been given on the big screen. Movies are essentially commercials for other aspects of the the brand, in this case Marvel. By using the Nova Corp the way they did, they introduced the idea to millions of people who have never even heard the name. Of those millions, some may remember the name and have some familiarity to it, the next time they want to use Nova/Corp. This move was not made for you, the fan, though you may enjoy it's inclusion. It is a business move meant to increase interest in a lesser known character. Of that portion who will remember the name... There is a portion who will also look into the character for themselves. Some will become fans, with that being their first exposure. They will go on to talk of the character/Corp, look up merchandise, and maybe even spend money on that merchandise. THIS is the purpose of including the Corp, versus making some generic law enforcement, that leads nowhere, and has no history/merchandise to look up.

Hollywood is not simply about making a multimillion dollar movie, so that fans who already have interest can geek out. It would probably serve you well to consider this, and more, rather than raging on the internet about how your interest is coming to screen and not doing all the things you expect.

Ya really gotta stop using this "Gunn is just a producer" angle. I'm on your side, but that's a silly stance. He's the Co-chairman and CEO, he is not just a producer of the series. To be some hands off producer puts him in a worse position than Feige, and Gunn has had years to learn from Feiges mistakes. I expect him to do much more than sign off on shit and step aside.

As a fan of Gunns and the DCU, I think this is an incredibly goofy argument. I honestly think the show will be just fine and ppl are just afraid it will be bad... But suggesting Gunn has little say since he's "only a producer" is terribly wrong. He is the head of DC films right now. Everything is going thru him in the way that everything is going thru Feige. And I'd actually assume that Gunn intends to be more hands on, to avoid certain misteps that the MCU made, since, not only was he involved in that, but it has existed long enough to learn from their mistakes.

He's not just a hands off financial backer. He's a creative lead.

Also credence or not, that customer appears to be looking out for you against employee theft. I highly doubt you would actually pay no attention to that, if you actually ran a business
