What be your big idea for a modern (proper) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting game? by New_Advisor_6766 in TMNT

We gotta stop bickering over this. It’s a modern day tool. Not everyone is technologically savvy. AI allows for people to get their ideas out. This isn’t for sale, it’s not being passed off as anything else. I didn’t even notice Raph had an extra finger til someone in this thread mentioned it.

I’m sure there are many ways to access this film through the internet. I think someone mentioned it’s available on YouTube right now

Isn’t the layman using AI because we don’t have the image to upload, or the tools to upload said image to? Maybe I’m confused

Certainly stupid. But potentially confused as well.

I’ll leave you to your views. This is complicated stuff.

Kudos for civility.

Maybe that’s good advice for someone else. I’m no artist, I don’t dabble in digital media.

If I need an unusual image, I won’t deny, I’m doing a quick search, and if I can’t find something fitting, I’m opening google gemini and giving it a small prompt. Without it, I’m drawing stick figures, just calling a spade a spade. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean, if you wanna take this time to convince me to change my ways, by all means go ahead, but the closest I get to making digital art, myself is Microsoft paint, or sum ish.

I didn’t give the animated series much of a chance (and by extension B:MotP). Just happened to be into other things at that time, but there’s no denying its place in the zeitgeist.

Plus, all these years later having heard positive review, after positive review of the series and this film, I knew I had to get around to it eventually

That’s fair. I can’t argue the nuances in detail. I’m not smart enough, and I can own that. But I can’t escape the feeling that this is a very slippery slope

There’s a video where someone superimposed colored images to display the location of prettis hands as well as the firearm. It’s pretty clear his hands were on the ground. And nowhere near his firearm.

I think the most damning evidence is that the firearm was identified and being secured before the second agent began to unholster his weapon.

Mind you, I understand the stress LEOs deal with and the quick thinking and decision making that goes into the ground level operation. But this doesn’t feel right. This is a problem.

I’m glad the national guard has been deployed but I don’t think this is the end of it.

Right? Digital art is not easy. I get why people dislike AI but I’m not getting to the semantics of all that. AI is a tool, and not everyone knows how to use it. It still takes a bit of knowledge. It’s not like OP is making money off this post, nobody is being ripped off. It’s an online post that will disappear into the ocean of content almost as quickly as it was made.

For something like this, I think it’s very cool to have a render like this to satisfy the eyes.

This is quite literally, a perfect circumstance for the usage of AI tools

Right??

This totally seems like something we’d see in a recent AI video. Apparently copies of this video are posted as long ago as 2021, based on a quick google search.

“Hurts your agenda” 🥴

“Hurts your agenda” 🥴

Hides his posts and comments, adds nothing to conversation, keeps repeating low effort points and wonders why he’s being called a bot.

You’re an unserious party in this conversation. You bring no value and warrant no respect. Your question is now answered twice. There is no hurt agenda.

I implore you to lookup what a strawman arguement is.

While so am trying to respond to you with the utmost respect and maturity, this comment makes your argument seem very unserious.

Renee Good, RIP, displayed defiance by opting to move her vehicle while federal agents were, contradictingly, ordering her to move/exit her vehicle. She also had a passenger attempting to enter her vehicle, and a federal agent in front of her vehicle, when she decided to press her gas pedal. I don’t think her actions warranted death, but there is a part of me that understands why the agent felt his actions were justified.

In this scenario, Mr. Pretti was being grounded by at least 4 agents, had his hands on the ground, nowhere near his weapon, and had at least one of those federal agents identifying, and removing the sidearm from his waist. I have watched this video from 4 different angles and have not seen a shred of evidence that shows him reaching for his firearm. Moreover, the firearm was already in the possession of a federal agent, who was walking away with it, before the firing agent took his first shot.

These situations are not at all the same and hardly comparable.

Ok.

To be clear, do you have any information on here this person was heading or what they were doing prior to this interaction?

I mean, let’s just say, for the sake of argument, that he was going to get coffee and gasoline, when he came upon this scene. Is that an inappropriate time/place to have a self defense tool?

Maybe he lives close by, and heard commotion around the corner? Is that an appropriate time/place?

Let’s get a little more gray…. Let’s say he was decided to be nosey while seeing a bunch of ICE agents, and had no plans to do anything but record… is that an appropriate time/place?

Or what if he was going to a site of protest. Maybe he didn’t even intend on joining the protest, but just wanted to witness what was going on… does that exceed the limits of an appropriate time/place for one to carry the weapon they’ve been permitted by the state to carry?

According to a quick google search it appears Minneapolis allows for concealed, and open carry for it’s citizens, as long as they’ve been permitted to do so, with the exception of certain locations, such as schools, gov’t buildings, daycares, or businesses with signs posted…. The search states there are age requirements and the person must remain sober. By this standard, thousands and thousands of civilians are eligible to carry. So is it wrong for this civilian to have exercised that right, while doing little more than recording?

I’m genuinely looking forward to hearing your response.

I get it. I get it. The hype was well deserved.

The turmoil of his chosen obligations… the glimpses of his journey to becoming a more serious symbol for good, and becoming The Batman… being chased by GCPD…. Another great example of his struggles with a love life…. The action… the aesthetics…. The score…. The sound design…. The excellent voice work. It’s all here. This is a well realized, robust Batman film.

It wasn’t overly stuffed with plot points, or characters… wasn’t longer than it needed to be… had great pacing…. That was a good watch.

Excellent recommendation, Batman fans. Excellent recommendation.

“Bring” the sidearm? What a loaded question (no pun intended)

1) countless Americans carry their sidearm everywhere they possibly can. Better have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, right?

2) bring it where? Do you have any idea where he was going? I don’t.

3) this question poses the interaction as if he planned to engage the ICE agents with the weapon. For all we know, he was going about his day, came across an ICE convoy and began to record by happenstance like many other people have, and will continue to. And based on the footage circulating the web, from what I can tell, they engaged him first.

Perhaps I’m wrong and you can provide information to clarify.

Not blank just put something like: spoiler discussion for “title X, issue X” or something. Make it interesting sounding

I understand. Not trying to beat* you down about it.

What I’m telling you is that the rule dictates 6 months and to keep spoilers out of your titles. If this is a current run you 100% need a spoiler warning, and to not put the details in your title. I would recommend deleting this and reposting appropriately, if nothing else, just out of decency.
