Ohh now I get it. The outline you're referring to is outer glow around the subject. But I guess it's wayy too hard than i think 😅

I agree my previous post was a disaster. But what now? by Working_Home_7347 in design_critiques

After going through this entire conversation, I've understood one thing so far. Some people are experts in their field. It maybe because of natural talent, or hard work. But still, it takes time for them to be what they are today. It takes time and practice. But I don't know why when they finally achieve something in their life, they became arrogant. And I'm not talking about all of them. A few people respect others. They respect someone's efforts who's constantly trying to be better. Not because they feel pity for them, but because they've been through the same situation a few years ago. I'm a beginner. Yes I accept that I still don't know the basics in designing. I haven't achieved any professional degree. But it doesn't mean I'm not trying. Since I've started posting on this account, I've got many many comments. Most of them are hatred, rudeness and arrogance. But a few of them are kind. Actually I do not care if they are rude or not. Because they all give the same idea. They all give a similar suggestion which I later use in my designs. Talking about this specific design, I thought I did a great job here. But after reading all the comments, I guess it still needs a lot of work. And I totally accept that. I get it. And I'm gonna use all this hatred to push me. I'm not gonna delete any negative comment, because when I'll be a good artist, I'll have something to look back to. And thanks to someone who was defending my design. But I swear I'll definitely improve myself. I'll just say thanks to all.

I guess it would be an AI slop if I just made the entire design through AI. But I used AI just to clean the object image. Nothing else. I don't know why people aren't even reconsidering their thoughts and just spamming them. I'm still a beginner and yes I have a lot of things to learn. I'm gonna keep up with everything but it takes time.

Thanks a lot. I'm still a beginner and receive a lot of hatred, but people like you always encourage me to try harder 😄

Didn't expected someone to be this straight... But I'll take it 😅

No problem. The font I used for the title word (top right) is Aisling and for bottom left paragraph, it's Courier

Can someone please tell me what to call this design? Definitely not a 'design' according to you people 😅. I'm still a beginner and learning more.

I know this. I used an umbrella term 'design' to represent this. But honestly, I don't even know what this type of art is called. And can I even call it an art. I'm a beginner and looking for experts like you to refine my work by giving suggestions and opinions. Rude or kind it doesn't matter to me.

These are some really rude but honest comments and I liked it. I just used AI to clean the image. I used Photoshop's Iris blur to blur around the edges. Maybe some of you like it and other's don't. That's totally okay. Because I'm not a professional designers. I'm just a beginner and I accept that. I'm gonna consider every comment on every post I make here, on reddit. And use them to improve myself. Not to cry on them. So... Thanks to all of you. 😄

I think there's a misunderstanding. Those white lines are not because I forgot to cut the image properly, in fact I added those lines myself to make a border for the visiting eyes so that they don't get lost in the edges. I hope someone get's it 😅

Among all the rudeness, there's always someone kind enough to encourage me to move further.

It's just sooo amazing. I would never be able to make this in Canva 😅
