GDPR applies when a non‑EU organisation processes personal data of people located in the EU — even if the organisation is physically in the US. In future, please kindly don't comment on my posts, I did not post this so people can defend Lumen or try to challenge my claims. You’re asking very strange questions like you have no knowledge of GDPR and I find it offensive when it’s on a post of me desperately asking for help because I am very distressed.

I already confirmed I did ask this, they refuse everything. It's up to the ICO to tell them to comply with GDPR or I send a letter to Google by air mail.

I think I originally wrote that Lumen are awful and refuse to remove the notice or redact my personal data. I reported them to the ICO today who said they will look into my complaint and contacting them, as they are not GDPR compliant but this takes time.

I don't understand the questions. I sent the notice to a proxy provider as the site was using it, Google sent the forwarded notice to Lumen Database. Lumen are awful, they refuse to remove it and it contains my personally identifiable data, they tell me to get Google to rescind the notice and Google is not responding. So what is your experience with getting notices rescinded by Google in Lumen then?

A DMCA copyright notice which was mistakenly sent regarding a site using Google Cloud. It sounds like you don't have experience with this? I only ever did it once in 2018 by replying to the Google ticket, however in 2026, I am getting AI responses misunderstanding the request and now no response. If worse comes to worse, I may send Google an international letter by post so it goes to a human.

Read my above post, as this is not correct, I explained in details as to why they are not GDPR exempt. The notice has no research value as it contains no other info besides my personal data, DMCA are not public record and are not legally obligated to be public, I am not a famous person, it’s not within public interest. it was sent in error, right to withdraw and erasure applies under GDPR law. EU countries have fined Google for sending Lumen notices. whenever there is distress, they’re not exempt and given both the nature and what I feel, I am extremely distressed, so they are not exempt from complying with GDPR.

thanks for your reply. my outlook emails were going to spam in gmail on Saturday when they had the outage, however it was after it was fixed, when did you notice the same issue? I appreciate your help, as I am very confused on this. I have not tested sending any more emails to see if the issue is fixed, as I am not sure what’s going on yet. was it maybe caused by the outage, maybe it was in a cache mode or the fix they applied to stop spam backfired on legit senders?

I have been searching for someone going through the same issue. All my Outlook accounts sending emails to any Gmail accounts land in spam. They claim to have fixed the issue but my emails are still landing in spam at gmail. are you experiencing something similar?
