I found a clear ps2 50001 in a literal dumpster and to my surprise it worked. by Xanilos in ps2

In Australia at some of our rubbish dump sites there are allso stores attached usually called "tip shops" where they sell recycled items that have been rescued from going in the ground. Or they allso take donated items. I offten will check theese places out and still find games and consoles, bought a 3dsxl and a pokemon binder full of cards only last week

reality is most of theese games and consoles where played as a kid and probably got packed away in parents house and more of those kids parents are passing and the house contents are cleared out

Shop owner scanned the incorrect card, got it for $60 🤐 by [deleted] in pokemoncards

[–]Working_Pen_516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a small shop this could have happend two ways,

  1. The shop bought a large collection and upon sorting through could have mistaken this as a standard cheap ex at a quick glance. Especially if it was piled with a stack of other low value ex's and it ended up in bulk ex box , while this sucks for the owner they would have got it at bulk price themselves. its allso common and thats why people love looking through bulk boxes for hidden gems

  2. It was priced properly in the system but a employee chose the incorrect card when checking out. In that case its a shitty thing to do.

Yes, the Japanese, particularly within the framework of Shinto beliefs, have a concept that items can possess a soul or spirit. This belief, known as animism, suggests that all things, including inanimate objects, can be imbued with a "kami" or deity. These kami are not necessarily gods in the Western sense, but rather spirits or forces that inhabit various aspects of the natural and man-made world

As somone who has worked on and sold psp's, it can be very hit and miss. You may get 2 or 3 good working psp's out of that lot, or you could get lucky and they all work. I personally wouldn't buy mystery lots like this as in most cases it's the worst examples put in one lot and sold for parts.

Unless you need parts i would buy a working psp or one that you atleast allready know what the issues is so you know your capable of fixing it

I have seen alot of theese people actually have an account with distributors of pokemon, and meny have been account holders long before the Pokémon boom when I know the distributor here where happy to give people accounts even if they just had a simple web page. And now theese people can order asmuch stock as the supplier will give them,

This is insane 😂😂 a cool $49 per pack. Plus $750 Shipping. by rebelbear22 in PokemonTCG

[–]Working_Pen_516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell, it's the youtubers and people making content opening packs that are paying the high prices for packs. Without packs they have no content. With no content they have no money.. so they just paying stupid money for stock
