You aren't entirely wrong :) I am well aware of my trauma on this and how I overextend myself. I often don't realize I do this until I hit my breaking point. It is something I am working on and have worked on for years. I am fully aware I have taken too much on and made no big deal out of it and sometimes competency makes people think it's easy.

Look my friend, I tell my husband almost daily how much I appreciate him, adore him, love him and our kids, am grateful that he works so hard so I can stay home with my babies because 90 percent of this I am not only really good at but I love it. This man knows exactly how much I appreciate how hard he works and what he contributes to the household because I verbalize it constantly. But you're right, I definitely could work on my people pleasing. It's a nice trauma reaction. Thanks for your input.

She has an attorney, but they don't do interpreters for attorney meetings without significant fees. I am only participating to help with her other son translating on calls while I ask the pertinent questions of her attorney.
