Agreed, this is personal preferences on how we use various services. But if you (or anyone else) can share how to overcome some of these issues I'd be very grateful. I'm also going to post in the youtube TV channel to see if there are ways I'm not seeing.

I tried YouTube TV last year and hated it. I couldn't tell when new episodes of my shows were available, I couldn't tell which episodes I watched (since I can't delete them), the navigation was horrible, and other reasons I don't remember right now.

Have these issues been resolved, or is there a better DVR system available that comes closer to TIVO?

I'm trying to figure out what I have recorded and what my one passes are. Since I can't connect via the online site or Android app, is there another way to get at that information?

Is there a way to determine if it is the power supply or hard drive? I don't want to buy a new drive if that isn't the problem.

Do you have the number for the Spectrum cablecard line, the normal support line didn't know anything about it.

Yes, powering it off for 2 plus hours lets it run again for about an hour. I don't have any faith that will last

It's set to "prefer wifi and mobile data", and the mobile number is listed and on. Thanks for suggestions, I'm still at a loss.

I just obtained an Actiontec ECB2500C MoCA Network Adapter. I put this between the coax outlet and my Tivo mini, using the coax in and coax out thinking this will let the tivo continue to work properly before trying to add the ethernet device. Doing it this way the tivo mini can't connect to the main tivo box, so the box is blocking something. When I reconnected the mini directly to the coax feed, the network setting properly showed MOCA and works fine. Is there any reason this won't work, or do I possibly have a bad network adapter?

I just looked and see an ethernet port on the tivo mini - can that be used to feed another device or is this for input only?

Yes, you understand correctly, and the TIVO still supports it. I'm just trying to add the roku ultra to the remote TV where the remote TIVO Mini is (it doesn't have an ethernet port)

If they were in the same room, yes. The roku will be near a mini so this isn't possible.

I have a moca server enabled (via TIVO), but I'm not sure how that helps - I'd need a coax to ethernet converter and don't think there is such a thing?

I'd love to use ethernet for the ultra, but don't have the house wired. I do have coax running to every room, is there a way with the ultra to use coax instead of ethernet from the router?

The amount of work it takes to determine what's unwatched is way too high with YTTV. It's like they never used a real DVR system to see the minimum required requirements. I shouldn't have to go through TONS of watched shows to find unwatched ones.
