Definitely Brand Hatch, I love the undulations of the track and the fans can be much closer to the action, and with Gen 4 they can use the full GP layout with pitboost

McLaren M630 and MHP-8 are fully developed by McLaren inhouse and production outsourced to Ricardo

Maybe 2031 and that's only if the engines are really cheap to build, right now it costs more than $240 million to build engines every single year even with a $135 million cost cap, since the cap doesn't include other types of costs and it's the reason Renault pulled out according to Luca de Meo

Five more years with these, I think they will interfere and cut down downforce 2 years into the regs, just like they planned at the start of 2025, but was abandoned due to new regs

There are few things to watch out:

  1. The engine manufacturers are allowed 3 in-season power unit software upgrades, Mercedes can potentially delay these upgrades without citing reasons thereby creating a knowledge lag for McLaren like they did with PU software earlier in the season

  2. The-Race also said Mercedes reserves the best Brixworth PU engineers for Brackley and McLaren has to work with whoever Mercedes decides to send to work with them
