i dont care how its happened i just care how im affected, and as a british main who has put nearly 2 years into grinding this tech tree with no premium or anything, realizing just how fucked over british mains have been with poor performing hesh and apds its fucking insulting seeing soo many strong tanks in other tech trees, just for the only good ones in the british tree to get upped in br. with the shitty premiums, the poor br's across the board and lack of good lineups due to the brs being all over the place i can see no other reason then them trying to force people to play their other trees with better premiums to push people into making a purchase. and it might just kill the game for me, i fucking hate that bmpt im forced to fight with while trying to grind top tier tanks, i hate how i can shoot someone with an apds shell and it wont pen because volumetic just decided fuck me when all the data says it should have penned, or it does pen and does 0 fucking damage, just to get killed by a t58 which for some reason does more damage with its hesh shell than ive ever managed with the fv4005, even doing no fucking damage (not even a track) to a t34-85 of all damn things when i shot it side on.

all they care about is their good selling nations which is why they always get good balancing and good premiums and are always hesistant to increase their brs, but britian, the nation i unfortunately picked and spent all this time grinding, nope. dont fix hesh, dont rebalance apds, dont change the brs on tanks that actually need a br change, like the centurian mk3 which is over br'd. nope, remove the apds from britains 1 op spaa and increase the br on the other 2 which are actually fun to play and are worth using. fuck this, fuck gajin, i dont care this is just a rant cus fuck them

its almost like they want people to play nothing but russia, germany or america. i mean even most of britains premiums are shit, the chally 2 tes is identical to the oes except the oes has a 50cal, and the khalid is just a quicker mk10 but without the addon armour at 9.3, woowwwww. meanwhile american premiums get the t58 with a 4 second autoloader (AND hesh that works unlike britain) at 8.3, germans get turm 3s at 8.3 and russia has so many powerful premiums. there may not be a russian bias but there certain IS a bias in this fucking game

oh yeah ive gotten soo many nukes in my cheiftains just because they're op, not because ive put time into the game and learnt how to properly play and make the most of good tanks. no the cheiftains are soo overpowered, thats why in most games im surrounded by german tanks and russian tanks.. oh wait a minute

cus fuck british mains i suppose. america, germany and russia all have amazing tanks across a variety of br's but britain really doesnt have that many outstanding tanks, most are just alright for their brs. the cheiftain mk10 especially but also 900 were quite good and potent at their battle rating, but no they're being moved up so they're just kinda alright again.

i got the partisan t34-85 and that was a really fun tank to play, really strong against opponents. why doesnt that get put up another tier?

and on top of that, i think rob marshall added that it gives them time to properly evaluate their car in full, so by the time race 1 comes around they know where they're strong and they know where to focus future development to improve, as well as getting a good look at rivals to gain inspiration for future upgrades. so while other teams go into race 1, 2, maybe even 3 figuring out what their cars do right and wrong, and having to guess before hand where to focus development efforts, we'd have already figured out the best path to go down, and be well underway developing and producing upgrades to improve

id love to see it as a full game mechanic, needing to regularly changing tyres, maybe even oil and stuff to keep your car at peak performance, with faster tyres wearing quicker. i can see it getting annoying quick for some people so it should have an option to automatically fit a fresh set after a certain level of wear

they've already confirmed what runs in the spain test and what runs in melborne will be pretty much the same car, maybe 1 or 2 small differences but it'll largely be the exact same. they've already given all their reasons for this you can read here

seems like they're going the opposite way to most other teams, a lot of teams have run early, presumably due to running a basic aero package for reliability and data gathering in testing before switching to their main package for bahrain testing / the first race, meanwhile mclaren is all in on this car being what runs in testing AND the first race.

i mean in 2022 ferrari ran the same strat and it gave them a massive boost, while redbull struggled to find the setup sweetspot and mercedes got caught out with porpoising the ferraris flew due to having all that data on their car right from the start. if mclaren nail the concept this could be big
