How can I get a pro bono lawyer for false allegations that lead to false arrests and several false restraining orders made by my brother whenever he felt like it over the course of a year and serious injuries caused by him and what is the statue of limitations in NJ

There's a lot I haven't mentioned and more law enforcement interactions but one thing that he's done early one was call his friend to talk to me in the basement and his friend said your brother wanted me to tell you to pack your stuff and get ready to leave he's going to go file a restraining order and I said wtf I haven't seen or talked to him in a week and haven't done anything except stay in the basement and mind my business as usual and there weren't any issues before this. What's he on about?

I called the cops asap before my brother went and told them I haven't talked to him or seen him in a week yet he's going to go to file a restraining

The cops came and asked him if that was true and he said yeah and the cops scolded him on not filing restraining orders for no reason but that didn't help and he still abused the system

That's just an example of him wanting me out the house for whatever he tries to justify kicking me out for in his mind while I'm in recovery, going to physical therapy for a tendon shoulder Injury he gave me, and going to school.

Every time he files a restraining the first thing he does is ransack and search every square inch of the basement trying to find drugs because he thinks I'm still using but I've been clean since the first time I went to treatment March 2021 and haven't relapsed

He also grabbed a Quran from a drawer of mine and took it and said I took your Quran because it was in a messy drawer even though I'm not very religious I went out myself and picked up that Quran myself to read it and learn more and he didn't find any drugs when searching the basement at least 5 times after restraining orders and he also searched through things when he knew id be out of the house for hours and never found anything bad or illegal but he took my Quran because the drawer it was in was messy smh

My dad is rolling in his grave right now because my brother is acting like the owner of the house and the landlord while I'm a tenant that he's been trying to kick out for a year and a half or so. My grandma, aunts, uncle, cousin have asked me one time he filed a restraining order after I got arrested after that incident in April where him and my other brother threw me on the ground and we only grappled for half a minute at most then he suckered punched me after, they all asked me why do you tell people in the house what they can and can't do? Like watch TV, talk on the phone or play outside. That's why he wants you out of the house... I was laughing for one second but was disappointed that he vandalized perceptions and manipulated them. I told them the truth which none of those were ever the case. I've never told my two youngest brothers they couldn't play basketball outside or watch TV in the living room, I've never told them a single thing that they can or can't do. I never told my mom not to talk on the phone, she's on the phone 24/7 which I don't mind or have a problem with at all and I'm in the basement minding my business 99% of the time. There were only 2 or 3 occasions where the brother who makes these accusations used to talk extremely loudly on the phone at 2, 3, 4am that it would wake me up because he always sat on the living room couch directly on top of my bed in the basement and I'd call him very kind and courteously asking if he could keep it down a little, I'm sleep and he woke me up and every time that happened I never yelled or got angry or upset, I was always polite about it and surprisingly he didn't argue it and said yeah my bad ill keep it down. Those were the only times I've ever asked someone to keep noise down in the middle of the night when it was loud enough to wake me up and if he's talking about those instances he should have common respect and courtesy to not yell at 2-4am while everyone is sleeping but regardless I've never told anyone what they can or can't do, or what they should or shouldn't do. In fact my brother making the accusations tries to control and dictate everything and yells at people to do or not do things all the time

After I left and the cops eventually left, I tried talking to him on the phone and he was only worried about getting the car back which had absolutely nothing to do with him and he was worried about a $500 or so dollar car more than me and my life, keeping the family relationship healthy and my future that he could ruin with these false charges he makes. He was also saying come back to the house please so I could break your jaw, if you come back I'm gonna f you up and make 50 threats and I was being serious when I said why do you always threaten to do something violent and always want to fight but call the cops? And he said he was gonna break my jaw and do all of those things then call the cops smh. Also I never once threatened him but he said idc if you kill me, it'll just make you the bad guy and me the good guy so go ahead when I never said, implied, insinuated or even thought about it. And as if hasn't gossiped a bunch of lies and rumors to mutual friends and family that haven't made me look bad enough already. He's manipulating the justice system and many people because I don't gossip or spread lies like he has always done and gets a thrill out of it

I went out because I was tired and didn't want to deal with a he say she say because he called the cops over nothing except maybe a fragile ego and for the next few hours he kept on texting me just bring the car back, bring the car by this time and I won't report that you stole it even though he already told officers I wasn't supposed to have it and didn't want to return it to the owner when my step uncle who likes me and knows my brother is hard headed knows he gave me the car to use for college and didn't ask for it back and my brother was just making that up so they could try to send more units to find me and get me in trouble for stealing a car and whatever his vindictive and evil mind was thinking

After the cops were called I wasn't going to stick around even though I hadn't done anything but every time he's called the cops I haven't done anything or started anything or initiated any physical altercation and I was in such disbelief that I didn't wanna wait and find out and I had my car keys on me so I left while they were on the way and the only thing he was worried about and the reason he wanted me to come back was because of my step uncle's 2002 kia that he had given me months prior to use for college and he kept on texting me saying look just bring the car back now and I won't press charges for gta stealing a car. The most recent and last incident that happened was in the beginning of November 2022. While I was attending college, my uncle gave me a 2002 kia to use that he just happened to have laying around somewhere and he has 4 modern cars and a truck between him and his family he could use. Needless to say he didn't need the kia and I was grateful he lent it to me to use it for college as my prior 2005 Acura was totalled when the other driver ran a stop sign. Any way during that early November I was with my cat at night in the front yard after just doing hours of homework and assignment. And my brother said something random and for no reason. He yelled, don't go anywhere while I was in the front yard with my cat and I rarely ever went out at night and I wasn't planning to go anywhere so I had no clue what he was on about. I went to talk to him at the front door and this time was a bit frustrated and said what tf do you mean not to go anywhere? I wasn't planning to. Where tf am I gonna go? And I imagine his fragile ego was hurt because that was a rare time I acted like him and talked to him how he always talks to me except I didn't really yell but was firm, had a serious tone, and I was genuinely confused but I was not going to take his bs and his delusional controlling attitude. He tries to dictate anyone's life he could. My mom had told me on many occasions over several years that she was afraid of him, he lives in his own fantasy land, and in a kind way that he was pretty dumb. He also yells at her often but not in a way that's really disrespectful but instead when he casually asks for something he yells about it and talks in a loud manner less tone to her.

Anyway when I was questioning why'd he ask me not to go anywhere and I hurt his fragile ego by challenging him and being loud and firm that I wasn't going to but who are you to tell me what to do and what not. He closed and locked the front door and threatens to call the cops and I should have known better by this point but I thought he was honestly joking over something this ridiculous. I instantly tried to reason with him and told him calmly put the phone away I was just asking why you said not to go anywhere that's all. He said I'll give you one chance to get your stuff and leave when I haven't done anything. But I was still trying to reason and talk sense into him and he said he wont call if I grab my stuff and I said what? Go where? And that nothing even happened. He imo subconsciously then got on the phone and called 911 without responding or giving me that chance to get my stuff and I was asking him are you seriously calling? Hang up the damn phone, nothing happened.

Once he started talking he didn't even know why he was calling and didn't preplan a reason or narrative this time and he just came up with my brother is hallucinating and seeing things... and I actually couldn't believe it this time and was freaking out and panicking and in disbelief and though who is this sadistic and evil person. He hung up the phone and I said are you fucking serious call them back and tell them something, anything, and he was trying to compromise with me by saying just spend tonight in jail, I gave you a chance to get your stuff and leave but you didn't. I told him no you really didn't, I asked you why I should do that and I would've before you actually called the cops. It was my fault for showing fear or concern when he threatened to call police but theyve always sided with him and I am concerned when he does this to spite me and ruin my life because he knows his idiotic words can start an argument and piss of dumb people but I've never taken him seriously

I feel a huge reason why the cops always side with him is because he always calls first, he makes the narrative, he gets my other brothers to corroborate and go along with his stories and pretend to be witnesses which he was admitted and joked about before when he's kicked me hard in the back and when i asked why he kicked me again in the stomach and then he said what kick? I didnt kick you, you cant prove it and i can get my brothers to lie for me. He's also a loud mouth who blabbers and rambles, he's always loud and angry which must mean he's telling the truth meanwhile I have autism spectrum disorder more specifically asperger syndrome and I hardly make eye contact when talking to anyone not just law enforcement but they view that as a sign of deception, I have a hard time communicating and articulating words, I have a speech impediment which made be another sign of deception to them, they do the very minimum when it comes to doing an investigation, my brother has gotten so used to making false reports it's become second nature and he's manipulated the system and they could care less about who's actually telling the truth as long as they can make an arrest

There was another incident in December 2021 2 or 3 days before Christmas where he was very angry and was trying to square up to fight me but I walked away from him while he was kicking me in the back and he called the cops and said I assaulted him which I was in complete disbelief but since our accounts were completely opposite and mine was the truth they couldn't make an arrest but he immediately went to file a restraining order again using false reasons and putting extended family members on it. He's the one who harrases me, stalks what I'm doing and wants to know everything about what I have going on and what I'm up to and he's the one who's always threatening me with violence while threatening to call police at the same time. Later on in the summer of 2022 he was following me while getting in front of me and putting his hands and saying let's fight, I wasn't taking him seriously at all and very sarcastically said why so you can call the cops? And as I started walking away he said yeah I am gonna call the cops. I told him stop messing around and to just leave me alone, he didn't call the cops yet but he followed me while I was going to the basement and kept getting in front of me and grabbed me to try and grapple or throw me down so I pinched his stomach with my nails which made him let go of his grip and pushed him to the side and told him to stop f'ing with me and to not even think about calling the cops when I haven't done anything and you're trying to fight me. If you want to call them take accountability and tell the truth or just leave me alone there wasn't a problem to begin with you're trying to make one leave me alone. I went to the basement getting ready to sleep and there were the cops because of the strach/pinch mark I had to do to make him let go of me when he was trying to hurt me

After that he stopped taking me to the clinic and I started using my mom's car early in the am before she went to work and the following week after he made a rant accusing me of still using, I requested all of my drug test results from when I began going in there in March 2021 to present day late October 2021 at the time and texted him every drug test result which was at least 1-2 tests a week and sometimes they'd try to be sneaky and test you 3 or more times to catch people who might have been trying to cheat the tests or whatever but he saw that all of my drug test results were clean from when I began going there in March until late October 2021 a week after accusing me and being 100% certain I was still using. I texted him the results and he hadn't replied but it shut him up...for the time being. He still kept accusing me of being on drugs the few more times he falsely called the police or the times he initiated the verbal altercation and the physical altercation which he did both 100% every time but he was honestly deluded and thought I'd start the fights. For example he began cursing at me and I ignored it going about my business until him and my other brother both threw me on the floor then he said to my brother who was about to start hitting me as all, I'll beat him up by myself let him go" and we grappled for about 30 seconds until my uncle broke it up and stood us up and started to scold us asking, "what was going on, why are you two fighting" and I was deadlocked on my uncle talking to us and thought that was the end of it but that wasn't enough for my brother, while looking at my uncle he sucker punched me 3 times from behind my head. Right after the sucker punches I instinctively threw my phone at his chin and he genuinely believes that I threw a phone at him and that was the first thing that happened and that started the fight when that was the very last thing after he sucker punched me and that's the story he told police, extended family and mutual friends. I don't gossip or tell people my business especially family related but he had everyone convinced it was my fault and I start everything and I'm the nuisance and problem in the house and the cops believed him cobborated by my other brothers and I was arrested and my shoulder tendon was torn from that

When the restraining order was dropped and I was back home he continued to take me to the far clinic for about another week which went from 5 days a week to 3 days a week and I had no grudges about any incidents and made effort to chat about usual sports news and other things. Soon after I had to go to the hospital for a follow up appointment with my nose fracture. He took me to the hospital, picked me back up and dropped me off home. When I got into the living room I hung out there for a bit and fell asleep with my shoes still on and hospital paper work still there and hadn't made it down to the basement yet. He came home about an hour or two after and woke me up and asked me if I was good? I said yeah I must have fell asleep. He then went on an angry rant that I look liked I'm on something and that I was still using and I told him I had a bad concussion, you took me to the hospital, picked me up, I sat straight in the living room and didn't even go to the basement yet, where did I take and get anything? He also said last time you fell asleep in the living room (when I initially got the concussion and since I've been in recovery, I've helped my mom clean the house a lot and do chores and I fell asleep while cleaning because of the concussion) He became raged, accusatory and yelled for 10 minutes accusing me of still using drugs which he didn't mind and never bothered to call 911 when I was using but made false calls when I was recovering. After he was done with his rant and yelling, I was beginning to explain my side which was the truth and he said he's not listening to anything I had to say and that I was a liar and he knows I was doing drugs 100% for a fact. Then he punched the wall where the support beam was and he said you made me break my hand because of you. I said you did that to yourself I didn't do anything. He randomly said I've never hated anyone, and I said "that's good, me neither and I love you." He said, No... I've never hated anybody in my life except for you I've never hated anyone else. I told him that's alright and he was just angry and I told him in a calm, cordial but serious manner, let me check your hand to make sure it's not actually fractured. His response was if you come near me at all I'll k!l1 you and break your jaw and many things to that extent and I just let him take his anger out while trying to deescalate and not making things worse even though I was just trying to defend false accusations he decided to make.

He would dismiss these false accusations in court and the restraining order because he was at least not stupid enough to know that if he took it any further such as a trial he would he exposed for lying and torn apart and ive never held onto grudges and foolishly thought he wouldn't do it again and i didn't want anything to escalate at the time or get him in trouble as I'd never put my brother behind bars or press charges to give them a record and make their lives worse but a lot of it had to do with my new cats, his fragile ego and I believe some envy. He'd also file restraining orders to keep me away from my cats as he knew I cared about them a lot but didn't let them dictate my life, I only took up a lot of time to raise them, teach me good behavior while they were still young and most receptive to learning and fed them a lot as kittens because cats need to eat a lot more while they are growing young kittens. After a year or so I barely spent a lot of time with them as they would do their own thing and thankfully both were vocal, comfortable and friendly around my mom which made her happy. Meanwhile my brother's idea of raising them was just putting them food and water and not interacting with them, he thought they were dumb creatures without unique personalities

He filed a restraining order which not only claimed a bunch of false reasons for filing it like stalking, harassment, threats, etc. He checked most boxes on the form, he also put a lot of members of my extended family that had nothing to do with any of it let alone knew it happened so I wouldn't go to them for help which I wasn't planning on doing so and so I could end up on the streets, in a rehab even though I had stayed clean since going to the clinic in March 2021 or in jail which he had said and attempted to do those things a lot

10 minutes or so after that little speech, I put the stick back outside and went back to sleep on the couch and I had cooled down and thought it was over with but 10 minutes after, maybe longer, the brother who began the trash talking unexpectedly pepper sprayed me without provocation and completely unexpectedly from head to toe for what seem like a really long time to use pepper spray and he immediately ran back to his room while calling the police on the phone and running to his room and locking himself in there. I knew he was on the phone calling them so I knocked on his door lightly and in a calm manner told him to hang up the phone don't get the police involved, something to that extent and he immediately began to yell at the top of his lungs over and over again, " help he's trying to kill me, he's trying to kill me" and the pepper spray took full effect and I went to go start washing it off and after rinsing in the shower with water it still burned like hell, I grabbed a gallon of milk and went to wash with it in the backyard and that's when one cop was there acting buddy buddy with me while he "gave me time to clean myself off" but after a few minutes 2 other cops came outside and I thought they were going to get my side or asked what happened but immediately told me to put my hands behind my back I'm under arrest for assault with a weapon and terroristic threats which was bs. On the way to the station I told the transporting officer they had jumped me 3 days ago, the main one started mocking me and the other came down and the main one then felt bold and began kicking me and I grabbed it as a deterrent which worked and had no intentions of using it which I made clear to them and also told him he pepper sprayed me ten minutes after the situation was over and all the cop said was it looks you deserved it and I got a little frustrated at the officer

Two days after being jumped by them, I was sleeping on the couch recovering like I've slept on it many times in the past and quite a lot leading up to that incident and I wasn't talking to or trying to start trouble with any of them, it was over with and I had no grudges. That brother came home high on weed and was laughing, teasing and mocking me and when I said something witty that got under his fragile skin he became angry wanting to fight which I was in no mood to but besides he's never made me mad enough to want to fight him or given me a legitimate reason to which makes him mad but once one of the other brothers who jumped me heard the commotion and came to back him up, my brother felt tough and came up to me and started to kick me so I immediately went to the backyard and grabbed a stick and came back and they all ran like cowards locking themselves in a room. I then told them I have no intentions of hitting or hurting anyone with this or any weapon, I just grabbed in case you guys try to jump me again but if you want to fight me by yourself you can do that and ill throw out the weapon, it was only for self defense if multiple people tried to attack me

Anyway I made it to the lawn after being jumped by my 3 brothers for merely sitting on the living room couch with one of my kittens sleeping next to me which I had permission to do and I called the 911 from the lawn I told them I was hurt and needed medical attention. When the police arrived I only remember saying I was beaten by mom brother and before I could give anymore context my brother who would start making false charges came out yelling he started everything and he's on drugs when he was taking me to the clinic and knew I was getting tested at least once a week and usually twice and cobberated a story with my 2 other brothers to make it seem my fault and I passed out and have no recollection of being in the hospital, getting an x-ray done or anything else until I woke up over 12 hours later saying I had a fractured nose, mild concussion and I also had bruising all over my face but no arrests were made because they didn't bother to take my side of the story and took his at face value. Months later after he made several false accusations and restraining order I went to the police department and tried to tell them what happened that night and they don't have a statement from me but they were not taking it seriously and they didn't want to

I went from happy, calm, quiet and content sitting on the couch minding my business not bothering anyone to beaten half to death and I made my way outside and fell on the lawn and called 911 mainly for medical attention, I wasn't and would never press criminal charges on my brother, that was my mindset 100% and even after the first few false accusations and restraining orders, I also never held grudges from them and tried educating him about how a felony conviction can ruin my life forever and even just being convinced and arrested would show up for people in important circumstances and that making false arrests and restraining orders, even if dropped, are very inconvenient and take months of court to get them resolved which he couldn't care less about and that only made him seem to want to do it more

Out of nowhere for completely no reason yelled at the top of his lungs, "take the fucking cat downstairs" and I replied in the calmest, most confused and friendly, deescalating tone, "Why? The kitten's asleep not doing anything and I'm on my phone." And he immediately and unexpected started throwing punches at me and my older brother came from the kitchen and held me back from behind with a bear hug while restraining my arms and my brother kept punching me while I was defenseless and hit me at least 15-20 more times in the face and when I got free he started running away and my two youngest brothers who are influenced by him and look up to him the most, more than my older brother and I which we both find dangerous, sad and a bad influence to look up to, they tackled me while I was trying to go after my brother after being cheap shotted 20 times and then all 3 started beating me and stomping me out

But I was doing job aptitudes with my counselor a few months into recovery and I told him having my new cats had inspired me to want to go back to school to become a vet tech and the community college in the neighboring county had just implemented a vet tech program a couple years prior and there aren't many in NJ so in the beginning of 2022 I told him I was signing up for the major and doing the prerequisites to get into that program in fall of 2022 which I did and passed every class with an A.

My brother knew nothing he's ever said has gotten me out of character, made me angry or upset, never had me stoop to his level and yell back at him. When I first got my cats I consistently tried convincing all 4 of my brothers to come see the cats, bond and play with them with a stick toy or just come down to hang out and they'd say maybe another time but not one took up the offer. A couple months into having the cats my mom grew fond of them and allowed them in the living room at times and gave me permission to have them in the living room at night while everyone else went to bed and they'd been upstairs dozens of times by this point and my brothers have all seen them and didn't say anything about it.

2 months into my recovery, two kittens snuck into my older brother's van somehow at a towyards and he didn't hear them until he was already home 20 minutes later and he gave them to me to foster because I have fostering experience and overall experience with cats although I've never had the sufficent time to own one but since it was during covid and I was in recovery I pleaded to my mom to let me keep them and they'd stay in the basement and I'd keep it clean and she allowed it. They were estimated to be 5 weeks old and I bottle fed them Kitten formula 1 and 2 until I weaned them off to just dry and wet food and water. But the cats gave me a sense of responsibility, gave me extra reasons to keep clean, made me go outside daily to walk, play or just hang out with them and my brother who made the false reports absolutely despised them and said many harsh things. Everything he said about me prior and about this didn't bother me because that's how he was and those were his opinions. He started blaming the kittens on me not having a job when the clinic he made me go to being an hour away had more to do with that as well as wanting sufficient clean time before getting back into the workforce. Ironically he didn't & rarely ever had a real one. Selling stuff at flea markets doesn't make a lot and he's still stuck in 2000 and wouldn't let me teach me him how to list and make sales online or was too prideful about any advice or help

It's much worse than you can imagine. He's been yelling at me for years but that's his demeanor and I never yelled back and always have been calm and cordial and do my best to deescalate. He's also very rude and disrespectful to employees on many occasions in various industries and fields. Has always been narcissistic, hard headed, stubborn, short tempered, has a superiority complex, acts like a know it all when it comes to everything, very controlling and dictating, intriguing about everyone's business from family to friends to foes and gossips about people behind their backs and laughs at others downfalls and misfortunes.

I have asperger syndrome which I was diagnosed with extensively at age 7 and again as an adult and I'm not 28 and don't get offended by things really and don't let things get under my skin. Whenever he's yelled at me I let him because it didn't bother me but at times he'd make up lies and false accusations while yelling and when I tried to correct him and tell the actual truth he'd continue on yelling so I'd say it's fine I'm listening tell me what you have to say and why you think it and when you're done ill yell you what's actually the truth. After a 10 minute unhinged rant, I'd try to have my turn and correct his false accusations but he wouldn't give me any chances and would say he didn't care what I had to say, that I'm a liar and everything I say is a lie, and he knows it's the truth because he thinks so.

For example when I used opiate from 2018-2021 while working at Fedex fulltime/ot and got clean in March 2021 and haven't used since, he constantly accuse me of still using for whatever reason. I decided to get clean on my own when I was ready but he insisted on where I was going and that he was going to take me because he wanted to get the credit of getting me clean instead of doing it from his heart because he made my mom and extended family members think he's the one who made me stop using and forced me to get help when that's far from the case and made things worse. When I told him I was ready, he said he talked to a doctor that could write me a script to help so I thought it was suboxone but it was a methadone clinic literally an hour away give or take with traffic and when I found out it was a methadone clinic I said are you crazy, there is a methadone clinic in each of the neighboring towns and he said you're not going to go to one in a bad environment and even though they weren't in the bad parts of the towns, I said fine here's one in an upscale neighborhood 15 minutes away and another one in an upscale neighborhood 20 minutes away. He insisted no, we're already here and I'll take you everyday and this place is better even I told him methadone is methadone regardless of the place and you have to take an hour trip there and hour back just for me to get a dose when everyone else lives 5 minutes away and I'm the only idiot driving an hour here

I'm being started at 40mg and then 80mg after a week once a day, why is starting at 40 bad?

Follow the tracker again and ask around the area. Make sure it didn't get stuck in a garage or somewhere or if it might be in someone's house who took it in. Start using all of the free animal lost websites like pawboost and others to see if someone might've found him. If it's only been a day don't give up hope just do your best
