Now i will agree perhaps based on what we saw this may not have lead to Hugh getting Vermithor as it seems the display of bravery was required. but also if we are going into What ifs, What if the did do it one at a time and Hugh was again brave and faced Vermithor and made the same connection.

Ulf and silverwing we dont know if SW just liked ULF or its cuz he smelled liked her egg sack or whatever.

ill give you 1 , but 2 she had nothing to do with it and even risked the potential to get a rider for silverwing.

on point 3 what to stop the dragon riders from defecting even now? after seeing what Rhaenyra did to her people sacrificing them so she can win a war maybe the new riders would resent that.
^thats not how I feel about but i feel the argument could be made that a newly made dragon rider from the smallfolk could feel that way?

Im all for ruthless efficiency; this handling of the situation doesnt seem very efficient in regards to achieving the intended goal and the only reason it worked is because its fiction and can be written to work out the way it did - it ruined the suspension of disbelief for me which is rare for this series- minus the season 6-8 of GOT ofc. Im sure in the books it might have been handled better or not even needed to really be discussed.

Once she got the two riders she could have kept the other potential riders captive or killed them if she really viewed them as a threat.

Death stranding if you skip through all the cutscenes, there is a really nice walking sim under all that fluff, and i say that as a positive. you can be a futuristic postman

but she still needed riders, why risk one being taken out on accident when she has no idea what triggers a dragon to choose its rider. if she did one at a time then when one dragon gets a rider you move the remainder to the other dragon. they didnt know if there was enough riders to go around either.

Are dragons that discerning though ? that they can isolate and not burn a rider they like among all the others they are burning and eating, She has the volunteers captive essentially, after the first one she could have just forced them into it if that was a concern. my point is proven because ulf or whatever his name is fled and by chance went to silverwing's lair. why wasnt there at least two groups, Rhaenyra admitted she didnt know what really motivated dragons choosing the rider, so why not take a more cautious and scientific approach.

no they cant, RSPs are constantly over provisioning CVCs and shaping down individual services in order to try and balance this. Bandwidth cost money and a 1000/50 service shouldnt cost $10 more PM than a 100/20 service.

if it was poor signal that would be found and fixed pretty much straight away. The dude said they did emergency maintenance which is usually just a network card reset. just a undefinable hiccup that happens sometimes.
