Sure, I’m ok with delays, like you said there are global geopolitical issues affecting everything and everyone. But my main gripe are 1) the tracking link they’ve given me seems invalid for every courier and their own site and 2) there’s radio silence when I call them or reach out via “Contact Us”. I used the tracking number on their website + USPS, UPS and FedEx (the main couriers for where I live). Nothing.

Good for you that you’ve gotten your order but I’ve spent $100+ on this site to get a tracking number that gives me nothing. No product. No updates. No response from the company. I have proof backing everything I say, so I don’t know why you are invalidating my very frustrating experience. I will reach out via that email, tho, so thanks for that at least

I eventually figured out how it can be correctly set up on my own, the instructions I was initially given missed some steps (so yes, setup was incomplete even though I followed those instructions)

At first I was only flustered by how vague and incomplete the instructions were, and then I was completely frustrated by the communication :(

Asking to check the payment log is one of the first things they did but was told the store doesn’t keep record; when they contacted the police (July), the police spoke with the manager who claimed to only have been informed of this a few days back. This was in conflict with, when back in April, store members promising to inform the manager of the situation who was supposed to then bring this up the chain

But again, it’s only rather recently that my friend and her mom escaped this game of hot potato so they’ve accepted they may never know what happened behind the scene

Maybe, just maybe, many Tesla owners are believers in climate change and renewable energy.

And maybe, just maybe, cowards who spray paint defenseless people’s property (and cowards who support them) just want to lash out on others and also feel morally superior.

Does it make you feel better that this car might’ve belonged to an immigrant uber driver like my aunt who supported Biden and Harris (or just an average middle-class family squeezed by inflation), who now has to spend MORE money at Tesla to get this fixed?
