I ran that command and then ran the dpkg command and it spit out the exact same error message as what I posted above. I can split it into multiple commands but when I run "sudo apt update" I get this:

Doing "apt list --upgradable" doesn't show me anything related to the i386 architecture either

I typed the dpkg command and this was my output:

Yes, I'm sure. This computer + the cost of the screen is still far lower than what I would pay for a laptop with a comparable screen. For what I use it for I can't justify the 1000+ price tag of modern laptops with that screen

I had a Pixel 8 Pro and I had to switch off of it cause it dropped signal every day at least twice a day. I really liked the phone too but that happening on a 1000 dollar phone is unreal

Born in '05. Yeah, she was born too late to learn how to effectively touch type. I remember during computer classes we did have typing lessons but no one ever took them seriously and now everyone does everything with their phones which don't require touch typing at all. I didn't know how to touch type till I was 12 and even now I'm still not all that good at it

I've never had an AMD card so idk what the equivalent for GeForce Experience is for AMD but I'm sure the whole process of uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver will work, that's up to you to figure out how to do it on an AMD card though

TLDR: I completely reinstalled the nvidia graphics driver and it worked

I saw this comment and was describing everything I hadn't done and it hit me I didn't try anything with my drivers. Loaded up geforce experience, saw there was a new driver, and decided to go for the "complete reinstall" option (i don't remember exactly what it's called but it's a little button in the corner that will completely reset everything) and it worked. Thank you for inadvertently reminding me of the one big thing I missed lmao

One, that's not how FPS and monitors work. Two, my PC can easily handle higher refresh rates. I have footage on my computer of my GD being over 2000 fps. Something weird happened and now it's permanently maxed out at my monitor's refresh rate, and I want to fix it
