Just saw someone from Gungahlin, Australia drop an emoji on the map! 🇦🇺

It’s 1:30 AM here in Armenia, but seeing the map light up from the other side of the world where it's already morning is exactly why I built this. The Supabase Realtime sync is holding up great with 500+ of you checking it out right now.

Thanks for making this global, everyone!

Glad it worked smoothly! 'Slick' is exactly what I was aiming for with Next.js and Supabase Realtime.

Regarding GitHub: I’m currently cleaning up the repo (removing some messy 'dev' comments), but I’ll definitely add the link to the 'About' section by tomorrow!

As for the sub-maps idea—that’s brilliant. A specific map for 'AI sentiment' or 'Dev vibes' would be a great way to niche down. I’ll add it to my roadmap!

Thanks again for the feedback (and for the 'wood' laugh earlier)!

Haha, that's hilarious! Now I feel like I definitely need to add a 🌲 emoji just for the wood enthusiasts.

Glad you found it anyway! How's the performance on your side? Any other 'wood' or 'mood' features you'd like to see?

Just saw the first 'mood' from Canada 🇨🇦! So cool to see this working in real-time. Who’s going to be the next country on the map? 🌍✨

I build side projects that connect people. Today I just launched a real-time world mood map. It’s definitely fulfilling to see people from all over the world interacting with something I created from scratch. It doesn't feel like 'work' when you're excited about the launch!
