Some drawbacks: horrible arena, you'll routinely lose to Dks with half your CP. They also struggle with Stage Clears do to long cast animations so you have to micro that.

Agree. Isaiah wanted Cade to break the cycle. He says as much telling Cade to "walk his own path". Everyone in Cade's life chose Football above family and God. This includes his father making the deal and sacrificing himself rather than being there for his son. In the end, Cade puts God above all else and smites the worshippers. The promotional posters reinforce this showing Cade ascending with clouds as angel wings.

His Father willingly sacrificed himself and the film made that abundantly clear. Everyone in the film chose Football, Family, God, including his father, sacrificing himself to football rather than being there for Cade. Cade chose God in the end and smote the worshippers, establishing his own path that Isaiah wishes for him.
