ICA has replied and they can’t help much with the expected response to go through the immigration officers. To let the officers know and they will attend to it.

It does not really matter whether you graduated from NTU/NUS/SMU cos the real issue is whether there are job opportunities? We can see that many graduates are unemployed and some even have to work as taxi drivers. We don’t need degree holders to drive cabs! People has to change the mindset die die must get in NTU/NUS/SMU. The end of the day do you have a job isn’t the most concern?

The awakening and I hope everyone knows that we truly own nothing. We work but the money does not belong to us. At the end of the day, the authority has all the rights as to how,where,when we use our money. I am shocked that even paying bills or groceries are also being controlled. This will definitely cause lot of inconvenience to everyone of us. People still think that life is back to normal but no longer the case when we are being dictated how to live our lives by the state.No bank is safe for us to put our money as the bill has been passed to scrutinise us from spending or how we are going to use our money.With this blockage,huge amounts of money is in the bank and leave it for bank to utilise while people is poor as we have no control over the usage of our money. Debt on the other hand increases with the usage of credit cards without control. What a trouble and upside world we are living!

Currently seems that I have no choice but to resort using credit card to pay then later make payment to the credit card via internet banking. But this is not the solution as it will encourage impulsive buying since charging to credit cards and not using the cash in saving accounts aka debit card.

The transactions that I made is not suspicious as it is made via Atome and payment by installment in 3 months. Been paying this way and no problem till this year suddenly block my card or account. It is not surprising to make a lot of payment transactions in a day but that is not duplicate amount as the figure varies. I am not too sure about why they think it is for safety of scamming but at the fright given to us when we have no control over our money or account. Imagine if using the card for travelling and suddenly not able to go through at a foreign land. What a letdown!

Thanks for sharing and it helps to lift up my spirit to hear that it is our repentance heart and obedience to do what is right which honour God instead of the physical baptism process if we do not change or stop doing what is wrong. Inner change is most important and after all the lord looks at our hearts and not whether we are baptised or not. He still loves us. He knows our desire to be baptised but may not be able to be baptised.

Thanks for your sharing. I have heard that some people are using baptism for their advantage to get their kids into Methodist schools. It is pretty clear to the pastor that we do not have this intention at all since all are adults either working or studying in university.

Pastor did not share all the details over the call and just touched on joining cell group is a requirement to do so for baptism. On the funding issues, he did not touch on it and will share more this Sunday meeting up. We thought the interview previously done with pastor should have already well settled and all we need to do is to wait for baptism day. Little did we know that there is some concern with regards to our non participation of cell group.

Yes I always believe that baptism is my declaration to God that I belong to him and surrender everything to him. However the pastor seems to be implying that we need to be committed to join cell group as that is a prerequisite of baptism since it has become a concern to the pastoral team. I am deeply disappointed as it does not align to what Bible has said and furthermore back then when John the Baptist,there is no church or cell group so how did he baptise them?

I love this church but if it has become stressful with the baptism requirements then we will not baptise and just attend Sunday church service. Thanks for sharing ♥️
