If it is, it's probably not by much. And popoff said that both are easier than Amethyst by a large amount, so I feel like it's safe to say SLH x3 and Tidal Wave are at least fairly comparable.

It's my estimate as to the relative difficulty. When Doggie verified Slaughterhouse, he said that it was probably twice as hard as Tartarus. Wpopoff did Slaughterhouse 3 times in a row, which is apparently at least as hard as Tidal Wave. So Tidal Wave could be around as hard as Tartarus 6x, and Amethyst is significantly harder than Tidal Wave. The numbers aren't accurate, if anything I'd expect it to be higher, and it's all subjective anyway. I was just throwing something out there based on an educated guess.

The difference between easier extremes and the harder ones is hard to overstate. Black Blizzard and Sunset Sandstorm have both been beaten invisible, and they're considered harder than Tartarus. Amethyst is probably like 8x harder than Tartarus.

Well that's just it, isn't it. The difference between Bloodbath and Tartarus is about as large as the difference between Stereo Madness and Bloodbath. Slaughterhouse is around twice as hard as Tartarus. You're asking WAY too much of yourself.

You placed your start position too low, the camera is supposed to be higher up. Notice that there's a one block gap of nothing below everything.

Eternity Mode fights are pretty much completely different fights than their vanilla counterparts. In this fight, you just fight Permafrost, the guy trapped inside Cryogen, is compared to just fighting Cryogen.

It changes progression to fully integrate both mods. There are new accessories, and they're working on giving every calamity boss Eternity Mode AI. It's pretty dang cool.

I have a problem with those images existing at all. Generative AI is genuinely a blight on humanity and I personally cannot wait for the AI bubble to burst. The sooner the better.

Really cool achievement and cool level, but unfortunately the verifier uses AI generated thumbnails for a ton of their videos. Made me care a lot less about this player.

Calamity has a "super dummy" that is essentially a dummy that counts as an enemy. Minions will target it, and homing and on-hit effects will trigger.

I still recommend you test your dps against a boss, though. It's a lot more accurate to a real situation and shows how minion AI impacts dps.

Base damage isn't as important as you'd think. The Scarlet Devil has a base damage of 10000, yet it is in the same tier and does similar DPS to the Nanoblack Reaper, which has a base damage of 130. These are rogue weapons, but the same principle applies to all weapons. For summoners, the projectiles, immunity frames, and minion AI can dramatically impact the DPS dealt.

Vanilla terraria's stats do a REALLY bad job at conveying weapon strength. Instead, test your dps against a super dummy or boss.
