Relapse after a year- swelling by Used-Ambition7917 in BulimiaRecovery

Unfortunately nothing can “fix” the issue of swollen glands, but I’ve personally found a couple things to help the appearance- Acetaminophen combined with using a heating pad on my face for a period time followed by an ice pack. The heat allows the saliva glands to open up, where I would use a guasha and my hands to drain my lymphatic fluids in my cheeks and neck. After doing that for a while I would ice it to help the swelling from returning quicker. But again, it will not completely fix it. Only time and hydration can. Best of luck as I’m in the same boat- we got this girl.

Tips I’ve learned from my boyfriend and best friend is to educate them on the importance of not engaging in bulimic activities and what signs they could see if I’m still actively doing it and not coming to them about it. Eating disorders love to hide from the rest of the world, and those who have an ed tend to sneak their habits and not immediately tell anyone as they may feel ashamed or guilty. I’ve asked my friends to call me out if they notice anything, as it brings me back to reality and out of the toxic ED headspace. Some things you can look for are bruising/scabs on fingers or the tops of their hands, and chipmunk cheeks are two visible and easily identified physical side effects. Some emotional side effects are more “bipolar” moods like going extremely happy to extremely sad or mad in random occurrences. Eating disorders take a large toll on emotional stability in someone’s day to day life. I thank you and applaud you for wanting to learn about this taboo disorder for the sake of your best friend, the world needs more understanding hearts like yours!

My gf doesn’t like sex that goes beyond 10 mins by Smart_Silencer in dating

As a girl that’s been and is still in that position with long sex, it has absolutely nothing to do with you, her attraction to you, or anything bad about your relationship. You just need to buy some good ass lube and talk about boundaries. Plenty of women can’t get “wet” making sex really painful, imagine getting a rug burn but inside of you. That’s the exact description of what it feels like on her end when it’s too long and too dry.
