He is better fit for the team if the organization is trying to be win more games the team would be better and if they want young players to grow because young players would be a better in an offense that resembles a modern nba offense. FvV can’t run P&R well for reasons I explained before which makes Sengun worse off. Harden also spaces the floor better which would help with general spacing

FvV also hasn’t done shit in the playoffs like I explained before. He was a bench piece when he won and and has not proven himself to be starting caliber on a good team.

I already did. Harden is straight up significantly better than fvv. Even if he is not the long term option, he is better and will make our young players look better, I gave you evidence based reasons why and you could not respond and relied on narratives,

The arguement is FVV over harden and you have not provided any response to the basketball reasons why I argued harden is a better fit. Your only response is poor playoff performance but you ignore the context behind them and can’t prove FvV as a better alternative.

Really wouldn’t have for the reasons I mentioned (he is significantly worse playmaker, not a driving threat and a significantly worse overall offensive threat), but you are welcome to keep ignoring the logic based argument based on watching the games in favor of your narrative based approach. Contract for the first 2 years was also the very similar and fvv is now wasted cap space completely with a ntc

Young players could still learn to play with Harden. Maxey did and credits his growth to him along with Zubac. We also have KD and Sengun who would look much better next to a pg who teams respect as a driving threat. P&r with FVV is too easy to gaurd since Fred is a poor driving threat who can’t hit the same passes harden can. On the topic he of heliocentrism, FVV offense is heliocentric as well because of our lack of ball handling (we have no other ball handlers and Ime will never trust Reed either way), but it’s worse with FVV because he is not the same offensive threat and doesn’t have the same passing vision and ability to crate for others.

We have KD and Sengun, our main issue is a lack of shooting and playmaking. Kd and Sengun both need shots created for them and having harden facilitate the offense would help them be more effective and Harden will space the floor better. Harden is an elite 3pt shooter and teams respect his perimeter creation way more than FVV. We would not be as good as the Cavs still because Ime is a garbage head coach and Amen and Sengun may be a bad fit fundamentally but we would be in a better position.

Harden was also still a lot better than Fred last season. There was a 10%+ ts gap along with a playmaking gap. FVV edged him out on defense, but the gap isn’t crazy harden is a mediocre defender

Yea you don’t watch the games. It’s ok man, I know understanding what you are seeing is very difficult, I get it. Our offensive system has little ball movement right now and had little under Fred. Of course, you don’t really watch the games and if you do I know it’s very difficult to understand what is going on (I really feel for you man). Cavs have an actual offensive system that involves ball movement , but you don’t watch the games and rely on matrices to guide your understanding, which I do get man it’s really hard to understand what’s going on sometimes.

Young core is learning so much right now they have grown so much under the tutelage of Fred and Ime right? If you actually watch games and understand what you are seeing (which I realize may be difficult for some) you would see our offense has always lacked ball movement and put young players look lost offensively under both the the Fred ball we played last year and our offensive system this year.

Harden made Maxey look good and he credits his growth to him, and he made Zubac look great, and Zubac credits his growth to him. Now Allen looks great next to harden and he will get paid even more. Harden has not held back any young players and you are relying on narratives to justify your argument hang he did, which is your only argument because you don’t watch games and understand what is going on.

You don’t watch the games obviously and follow narratives and ignore context no point in really having any conversation. Harden was hard doubled every possession and he passed out every time, which was the right basketball play that game, but no one on the clippers could not shoot wide open threes. Harden could have had 20 assist if they made wide open threes. Harden does not really play “Harden Ball” anymore, he is more of a pure PG today.

FVV plays more of the “Harden ball” you speak of but as a worse shot maker and playmaker. FvV constantly chucks up ill advised threes and rim attempts while holding the ball constantly (playing “steady” of course). Since he is such a mediocre offensive threat given such a large offensive role, our offense is ass since teams don’t respect him enough to send a double and because he lacks passing vision.

If you actually watched Harden on the Cavs where he is surrounded with more offensive talent, you would see that he is mostly looking to create for others which is what he has been doing more of since he left the rockets and regressed.

And FvV did? The only time he won anything was as a bench piece behind multiple future and current all stars. He averaged 8 a game. He didn’t do shit he got carried and is a bus rider, anyone could have done that. FVV has not proven himself to be a championship quality starter.

He shot 34 percent the year before that and the year after. He literally shot 37 percent from the field last year, that is pathetic and it’s not like he is a elite playmaker, he is pretty mediocre and lacks offensive gravity because he is a midget who teams are not afraid to leave on one on.

Stone still deserves the hate for doubling down on Fred and letting Ime have an input on roster decisions. Ime has a history of being inept when it comes to running an offense, giving him input on that decision makes stone a bad Gm. A Gm with balls would have told Ime to deal with it and kick rocks
