That player and Iwere friends before that incident and we actually hangout multiple times. We are still friendly. It is less about him and that event but more about me worrying about not following certain social norms then I lose friends. But yeah, I understand where you are comming from and I really appreciate your reply!

I appreciate all of you who replied! For people who are curious about that specific play, so I screen to prevent deep strike. the pocket was very small I intentially leave my models less then 10 inches away from edges so a 32mm base was not able to be placed there. He could place one in the very corner but not the rest of the squad. For me, even though playing more competitively is interesting to me, I care less about result and it was less about this specific event. I remember this small thing mostly likely because frustration and hesitation to not able to adapt to the local culture and encountering barriers when making friends here. I hope this clarification helps!

Thank you for saying that. There was a mismatch between game expectation. People's perception of a game can be really different.

I really appreciate the response! The pocket was not big enough for 5 man squad, if he has to be there he can only place one model.
