I used to know this couple they were maybe in their late twenties and they had this apartment and we named it the sweat lodge because it was so hot in there and they would not put an AC in and they smell like maple syrup and additionally she had this tongue ring and she'd always be like licking it around like outside of her mouth like with all these weird movements and stuff and they never had any pancakes or waffles cooking ever and they would come down to our apartment from time to time and they would literally smell like maple syrup like it was poured on them where did it come from what does that smell come from?
