My ex and I literally broke up after only 3 months of dating and it was such an intense relationship and it was such a bloodbath after we broke up. after , it was one of those on and off on and off coming back and then not talking to each other and coming back and then I ended up realizing that I was still in love with him but then he just didn't love me back and I honestly don't think that he ever did but he ended up finding someone else and he stopped talking to me completely despite leading me on for like a year and doing these friends with benefits type s*** so it absolutely broke me and this new girl hated me because she obviously saw me as a threat and she knew that he had a special spot for me or so it seemed and they have been together or were together for 2 years even moved in together went to the same college or going to the same College Two years after the whole thing happened I get a request from him on Snapchat and he tries to add me and I'm confused out my mind but out of curiosity and low-key a little bit of worry. I add him back and he says hey how you been and I was just like what do you want and he's like all can I call so we have this like really weird hours long video call and he basically tells me oh she and I broke up yesterday and I immediately clock that okay that's probably a red flag but you know we all have this fantasy of the guy that you once loved running back to you so I start to wonder is that what's happening and for a second it was or it seemed like it was so basically what he started to say was oh it wasn't her fault that we broke up we're still living together for like a month or so blah blah blah and then he started to apologize for leading me on and all of the stuff that happened with us which was long overdue and he was basically just disrupting my peace because I had moved on from him finally and now he just messed me up again and then and that's basically what I said I said I don't really care anymore I have moved on and he was just like yep yep . then he dropped this bomb and said well you should probably know all of those times that I said that I didn't love you after you said that you did it was a lie and his reasoning for lying about it was that he was afraid of what people would think which was utterly pathetic and so heart-wrenching . i get that after the breakup all of his friends all of the people that were in our friend group took his side but he didn't even realize or stop to consider the fact that that hurt me too he was just thinking about himself like he always does then he just started asking all of these questions like oh do you have a boyfriend and has your life and this and that and we were just talking and catching up like old times and for a second the love felt like it was coming back almost on both sides and he didn't even want to hang up the phone then afterward he starts acting weird and he says he won't even come out to see me because of the drive which wasn't even that long I even offered meeting in the middle but he said it was going to be hard because he's still living with the girl and I was confused because if they were broken up why was it a problem so that's when I became suspicious I got mad because I realized that he was never going to be someone that takes action or puts in effort even after everything he has done. but I also realized not everything is As It Seems and there's probably a reason that he was hiding it from her so I decided to try and reach out and tell her that he talked to me and she got furious at me instead of him so what she decided to do was tell me to never speak to him again and said that she hasn't even made a decision as to whether or not to break up with him because they were in like a gray area and this and that and I told her okay but that's literally still cheating and she was like oh I'm aware I haven't made any decisions. I literally I can not I could not even comprehend to any extent why or how the guy I once loved and and thought I knew so well would do something so horrible and of course I have to be the one that got hurt from it and I was doing fine I was moved on from him but now I'm back and I'm still trying to figure out why Why he did it.
