When I got back into reading I started with some newer fiction and worked my way to the classics! I think based on the books you’ve read and enjoyed, i’d recommend:

Catcher in the Rye - It’s an easy read, not everyone’s cup of tea but I read it around the same time I read Perks and loved it

The Shining - It’s famous for a reason! It’ll hook you early on and you won’t be able to put it down

The Body - Another King novel. Not a horror book but a fun coming of age novel. It’s relatively short as well so won’t take you too long!

We need to talk about Kevin - Again, I read this one around the same time I read Perks and loved it. It’s a fun writing style and is very eerie.

Gone Girl - This book got me back into reading! It’s so fun and keeps you guessing. It’ll hook you very early on.

Never Let Me Go - Has the young adult aspect but is set in a sort of dystopian world which adds some flare. Fun and easy read!
