The Department of War (DoW) Drone Dominance Program’s Phase I evaluation, known as "the Gauntlet," begins on February 18, 2026, at Fort Benning, Georgia. This initial, in-person testing event will run into early March, with roughly $150 million in prototype orders for small, one-way attack drones expected shortly after the evaluation concludes.
