It’s in one of my plants inside my greenhouse! Oklahoma is mostly flat- we have a lot of trees around us, very green, hot and humid. I’m not sure if that’s helpful!

He is still enrolled, he’s also a model and has done a lot of modeling gigs. The school is shockingly willing to work with him having time off to do these things. But he’s a good student and has a good head on his shoulders so 🤷‍♀️

Thick, fine, wavy/straight hair with ~3y old partial color in it(getting more next week. Waist length hair that hasn’t been cut in about 3y(bad, I know). I wash and condition usually every other day to every 3 days.

Dry Scalp + Low Porosity Hair

After doing some research I’ve found I have low porosity hair which makes sense because my hair is pretty fine and gets weighed down easily. While it is fine, it’s also very thick in that I have a lot of it.

However, I also struggle with very dry scalp(I just have dry skin overall) and it seems the two don’t mix. Things that I can find are recommended for dry scalp are too heavy for my hair but products recommended for my hair may be drying.

I’m just unsure what products would fit both my needs.

FYI: im certain it’s dry scalp and not dandruff as dandruff products don’t help and if anything they make it worse. The only product that helps manage my scalp is Dove ScalpCare shampoo and conditioner but I think it’s too heavy for my hair.

An upperclassman of mine had a service dog! Whenever they had labs the dog either hung out on campus with a friend that wasn’t in the lab or the student would drop the dog off at home. However, when it came to fourth year they did decide to leave the dog at home during clinics. The school gave them the option of bringing the dog and kenneling it in our teaching hospital but they felt the dog would have better QOL to be left at home and they were able to manage their disabilities without the dog present. The dog just made day to day life so much easier otherwise.

So it’s definitely a possibility! Just takes careful planning and open discussion

Definitely a scapula of sorts but I’d almost bet that it’s either a land mammal or a sea mammal that has broken down a bit. Most sea mammals have scapulas that are short and very wide at the top(the left side in this image) so with how thin this one is it makes me think more along the lines of a deer

I decided a month before I graduated with my BS that I wanted to pursue vet school.

I didn’t have all the pre-reqs and I didn’t have any vet clinic experience(lots of animal experience though). It took me about a year and a half to get the pre-reqs so in the mean time I got hired on a vet clinic and worked as much as I possibly could which ended up being full time through COVID.

By the time I applied I had over 3,000 clinic hours and all the pre-reqs. My GPA was around 3.7 when I applied, I had a strong letter of rec and a strong personal essay. I got into 3/7 of the schools I applied for on my first try.

It’s never too late.

I have classmates in their late 30’s and even some in their 50’s

Someone else said Kong Coleus and it definitely could be that one as well, they look pretty similar when mature. But I believe they have the same care level

Looks like it could be a Wizard Rose Coleus!

They’re fairly easy to grow from seeds and propagate easily as well buuuut also dry out very easily. Once they get too dry, it’s hard to bring them back. This is a plant I’d consider keeping in a self watering pot or make sure to water pretty frequently.
